MLB 2018 playoffs: Full schedule/results Red Sox fire Alex Cora Now MLB fines redsox

I’ve only watched a few innings . There are just to many Ex-tigers playing and it reminds me how bad DD groomed AA, and those last few years DD really was in Detroit he just stunk at building a franchise. Now he may win a title with the highest payroll in baseball now. I may watch a few innings of the brewers game to see if they pitch inside to Macado. Man what a dirty player he is.

Craig Counsell has lost his damn mind. Just yanked his starter after a lead off walk to start the game.

EDIT:
Apparently this was the brewers plan all along. Miley who was yanked will start game 6. Maybe the dodgers loaded up a lineup of righties as prep for the lefty who was announced the starter?

Red Sox to World Series.

JBJ's 9 RBIs vs. Astros earn him ALCS MVP. Bradley had just three hits in the five games against the Astros, they added up to nine RBIs.

Through his first 124 at-bats of the regular season, the notoriously streaky Bradley was hitting .161 with two homers and nine RBIs. His OPS was .502. But manager Alex Cora stuck by him. And from July 1 through Game 5 of the ALCS, Bradley slashed .269/.340/.479 with seven homers and 36 RBIs, all the while playing tremendous defense.

Price helped secure American League pennant victories almost exactly 10 years apart.

I would have watched a Brewers vs Astros WS, but I have absolute zero interest in this Dodgers-Red Sox matchup.

Bingo ..

I agree . I have little interest in this series. I may turn on the last inning in clinching game. DD does not deserve another ring for how he ran Detroit at the end of his tenure. So I guess I have to root for the Dodgers . I’m puking saying that but I hate the Red Sox. We have the first (Boston) 228 Million , and the third (Dodgers) 199 million. Refreshing to see the Brewers with the 22nd payroll to get this far. Maybe 2025-30 for the Tigers as it feels like our front office does not know what it is doing.

I'm sure that ESPN is positively thrilled with this big-market franchise WS...they had better be stocking plenty of bibs and drool-cups for their on-site correspondents' use. Haven't done so since '11, but back when we still posted on their messageboards as members, I would occasionally browse ESPN NY, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, and LA, which were virtual cul-de-sacs, and the only means to escape any was to hit my browsers' back button, close the tab and/or re-enter ESPN by bookmarked link.

two teams that I don't care about but I will watch here and there. Both teams have plenty of stars.

DD believed that the Tigers could win in the postseason with complementary players, shitty benches, and questionable BPs outside of SU and CL....but that all eventually backfired when many of their stars on O and BP suddenly failed to hit or pitch well, and no one emerged as a surprise clutch hitter when it counted in the ALCS or WS.
