Major League Baseball has incorporated Negro Leagues statistics of more than 2,300 players, shaking up its record books in the process.

I think it's total BS. Put the numbers in and acknowledge the great accomplishments. That said, they should be separate, since they were totally separate leagues.

Esp. now that Gibson will be considered season BA leader .466 with playing only 70 games. MLB players need to have 502 PA to qualify but apparently it won't apply to the Negro League.
