Next GM and Head Coach

I just hope they hire people who are willing to do a proper rebuild. This team is going to be bad for a couple of years, no sense in trying to make win-now moves. Take your lumps and accumulate high draft picks, ignore most skill positions and triple down on linemen.

The unfortunate thing is HC and GM want keep job so they try to win now.

"Detroit won that playoff game against Dallas. It was a LANDSLIDE victory. Everyone knows it. The people know it. The NFL is rigged".

"Barry Sanders was FANTASTIC. A FANTASTIC FOOTBALL PLAYER for a FANASTIC franchise. When we played the Redskins the next week, the fix was in. Think about it. We were playing in W-A-S-H-I-N-G-T-O-N. No chance. No chance we win that game. But we played FANTASTIC."

What happened when Herm says all this Jets were 2-5 at the time....team ended up 9-7, won the division and beat Peyton Manning & the Colts 41-0 in the playoffs.

Marvin Lewis gets a HOF QB if he comes here. If he can build the defense good things will happen

28, 21, 22 (playoffs big Palmer year), 17, 24, 19, 6 (playoffs), 24 PPG Defense his first 8 years

Then he led Bengals to
9,8,5,12,2,8 6 years in a row. 5 playoff appearances. I will take that any day for 6 year run of defense

16th and 30th his final 2 years for the Bengals

Plus his Baltimore years. Remember best defense ever in 2000

The guy can coach a defense really well. So experienced. 16 seasons as a HC and another 8 more as a DC in the league

Marvin would be a great hire with the right OC

Makes sense to me.... it's been like 2 months and we've only had a couple interviews. Maybe by April we can put in a couple offers! Dunno... that might be taking it a little fast.

Don't forget the 3 in-house interviews, lol.

there you go again with that HOF QB talk :lmao:

so he can coach a defense really well but not win in the playoffs. Maybe the Lions should hire him as their defensive co.

HOF QB with 1 Pro Bowl and 3 playoff losses. Lot of passing yards because the defense and run game always suck and they’re forced to throw.

The HOF monitor has him between Joe Flacco and Vinny Testeverde, good company there.

Stafford will be 5th-7th in TDs and very high in yards. Playoff wins can come. He will be in the HOF. Can't wait for that day

“I’m telling you, Matthew Stafford is a tremendous football player,” Young said on the Tolbert, Krueger & Brooks show. “Matthew Stafford, with some help, is one of the greats of this generation. He really is. He’s done miracles, in my mind. Miracles. And that’s the thing. If you can say, ‘Who’s the most valuable player? The guy who’s dragging around the most, and getting the most out of it.’ I might say, ‘Matthew Stafford.’
