Next GM and Head Coach

I think we lose Saleh to the Jets and we hire Bevell or Marvin Lewis.

Just my gut feeling

Jeez I hope not. But I wouldn't be surprised. No idea if Saleh is the guy but getting a young guy with new ideas would be nice.

Marvin Lewis at HC and keep Bevell as OC. That would be fun

This team is doomed. They need to pick a GM so they can go and hire a coach. We are going to finally hire a GM and they are going to tell him who the HC is after we lost our on the good coaches.

Its cute you guys know who will be good coaches or not..like you know their football knowledge or personalilties or their coaching and leadership methods or what scheme or talent they want or how the lions ate conducting their search

Just wait and complain 2 years in like you always do

almost the opposite of you saying every year that the Lions added great players, had a good draft, players will get better, they have a good GM, good coaching, a SB caliber team, and proven wrong every year.

It seems we may have two extremes here.

I just hope they hire people who are willing to do a proper rebuild. This team is going to be bad for a couple of years, no sense in trying to make win-now moves. Take your lumps and accumulate high draft picks, ignore most skill positions and triple down on linemen.

Lions have done well many years. And there are reasons for failures (coaching, injuries, refs etc). I've been right more times than not.

But continue to shit on the hiring process that you have no inside info on

Funny that you omit "ownership" as a reason why the Lions have largely floundered as a franchise since 1964.

An NFL team has a single-season objective: Win A Super Bowl Championship. This Year. That's It.

If the Lions do that, I'll say two things. Thank You, and Congratulations.

Ok, three things. Finally.

Actually, four. Do It Again.

So, one playoff win in the Super Bowl era, almost 30 years ago, is the LKP standard for doing well many years.

Got it.

LKP is like Trump. One 12 win team in team HISTORY.....

"The Detroit Lions are the greatest team is sports history. I know. I'm an expert. Nobody knows more about the Detroit Lions than I do".

now that's funny.

The Lions lose by 21 and LKP says it was a true win. Just like Trump losing by 7 million votes and claiming he won in a landslide.

LKP, the Donald Trump of DFS.

"Detroit won that playoff game against Dallas. It was a LANDSLIDE victory. Everyone knows it. The people know it. The NFL is rigged".

Brad Holmes the favorite according to Adam Schefter for the Lions GM position.

I'm comfortable with that. Rams have had some good drafts. It's not his fault they signed Goff to a ridiculous, salary cap killing extension.

Now go get Saleh.
