Next GM and Head Coach

Not everyone has to stay healthy, but there are years when the lions are healthier and they have success. Every team needs health. San Fran is perfect. Shitty year with injuries even with your great Saleh as DC and great Shanahan mind at coach

My comments are based on things going right. The potential of the Lions are based on player progression and health. Every team is based on that. Basically if those things go right, the Lions will do what I say and that has been backed up several years. Then I explain to you what happened with injuries and obvious poor officiating and unexpected bad play (Walker a perfect example) and you get your panties in a tizzy.

Lions should be good. Various factors can prevent that. Any year they can have normal health and proper player execution and win based on the talent the last 10 years. We'll see what happens in 2021. You writing them off already without even seeing the changes shows your errors of how you think about the Lions potential

How is that trolling. It is stating fact that they can turn it around in a new regime that has nothing to do with the past.

I get you want your little Lions pity party. Ooo that stunk some years. Wah wah wah.

Change teams if you keep bringing up all the losing. Do something about it.

Saying they got screwed out of 3 super bowls in 10 years is trolling. It's absolute stupidity.

I don't cry at all about the losing or the history......you better realize who you're talking to. I am one of the more positive posters here.....but you're living in a fantasy world if you think anything other than the history of this organization has been bad, or that the current (just fired) regime was anything but bad.

This person has apparently reversed his position on whether or not the Lions can attract FAs. He previously stated that the "shitty" city is a deterrent.

But he has not specifically identified which ones that the Lions need to pursue. Apparently any "FAs" will escalate this team to new heights.

After all, we've seen this work so many times before. No reason whatsoever to think that it can't work again.

There are talented FAs that will come here despite the city. Some to follow a coach even (Saleh, Bienemy whoever). Money talks too and belief in helping turn something around.

Lions can turn it around quickly if they keep Stafford.

They did get screwed out of the opportunity. It is not trolling, stating a fact that a playoff run was killed by injuries/refs. Multiple back breaking injuries. Super Bowl winning teams are usually pretty healthy for the most part or have the injuries in the areas where they just happened to have good depth.

This year it was Flowers and KG. They are really really good players. Lions CB plan went to shit with injuries to Okudah (several), Coleman early and Trufant (hamstring all year). That is just too much. On top of all the other injuries to Stafford ,Swift (3 games), Hand, Shelton, Collins at the end. Vaitai big FA missed a ton of games and maybe didn't play as well because of that. The young potential guys in Bryant and Julian Okwara with lost seasons.

Hand, Griffen, Flowers, Shelton were pretty much all at the same time down the stretch. Like let me start taking away Dlines for some teams for 4-5 games. Hell San Fran lost their season due to that.

Crunch time in season missing 2 WRs and Swift against Carolina and Houston in 2 winnable games. Offense flat out killed with that plus Stafford finger injury

Hell coaches missing Tampa game plus Stafford is a death game. Refs cost us Vikings game.

Argument can be made for 10 wins in 2020 but the season went to shit from injuries. The coaching was also lacking on defense but the injuries for sure didn't help them.

But no way should any Lions fan write them off for 2021 already without even seeing the changes.

I wonder which FAs would help the Lions and agree to wear them snazzy all-grey unis.

I wonder what the definition of "turn it around" could be.

you are so delusional. You make a case for 10 wins but then you say that the Lions need 9 new starters on defense. Why would a 10 win team need to change that many starters?

Missing a RB for 3 games...lol. Even missing a #1 WR shouldn't hurt a team. The Saints missed arguably one of the best WRs in the game for about the same amount of time and their starting QB for 4 games and still finished with a 12-4 record. That's what good teams do...they overcome.

And these defensive players that were hurt that you keep crying about...not a single one is a game changer....average players at best.

:lmao::tup::cheers:

there shouldn't be anything to turn around. According to LKP this has been a double digit win team and SB contender for the past 10 years. They just ran into some bad luck. :lmao:

Thomas for 9 not 11 like KG and Davenport for 5 games and Brees were basically their only injuries. Lions was entire Dline, top 3 CBs, QB and some on Oline too. Swift, Amendola and KG all at the same time too in crucial games. Lions were more injured. Saints D and Kamara could float them. Played Atlanta twice and Denver without Brees. Super easy and lost to Philly without Brees.

Lions were more injured. Saints did well to have success without Thomas and Brees because their defense and Kamara stayed healthy

They said maybe the Lions could have put that rumor out there. Who in the heck would do that.. Its probably the Lions didn't interviewee well.

If we don't get saleh we should plan a protest outside lions hq.

We could have LKP lead the way and explain to the Fords how Saleh was a true hire and where the true Lombari trophies should be placed.

that would be a Lions move. They put out a rumor that he didn't interview well, the coach hears the rumor and says, "FUCK the Lions!"

Breaking News: Robert Saleh's wife is in the bakery right now getting a cake that says "Congratulations, Coach" White Cake with Blue Icing. I believe he may have accepted the Lions HC job. #49ers #FTTB

Saw this. Obviously just a rumor.....but interesting.
