3 sick of coaching changes and good talent underperforming, refs not helping, and injuries..and a fresh start with several kids about to hit school age soon. Plus a wife that is sick of people bashing a great qb who puts his heart and soul in this team
Bad fans, bad media, guy deserves a fresh start winner team
he is part of the "good talent under performing"
I know one thing for sure, the Lions will win more playoff games without him than they ever did with him.
My guess is his first choice will be SF, and that should be the Lions #1 trade target as well since they have #12
#2 for Matt would be Indy. He could be average and reach the playoffs with them, Rivers did. He might not win a playoff game in the AFC though, some really good teams and QBs over there.
#3 possibility would be Dallas if they don't want Dak. He is from TX, he would love that. Probably fail there. Kind of built like the Lions have been since Matt was here. All flash and no substance.
#4 could be Houston. If they get a haul for Deshaun the Lions could ship Matt there. He would fail there.
#5 would be really funny. Send him to the Jets for #27 and next year's first round pick. He would fail there too.
I doubt the Saints or the Steelers could afford to pull it off with their salary cap issues, but who knows.
If he lands in SF he will likely get his first playoff win next year. Probably some other teams that I am not thinking of...Denver, LV, Bears???
