I see the Giants and Seattle both finishing 1-3.

I see the Lions finishing 2-2 and missing the playoffs.

Hope I'm wrong...

I mean...I can't say we should lose any of the last 4. Gb game could be against Jordan love. Playoffs start now... win and you stay in.

Should is a stretch.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the direction we're heading. Playing good football right now. The Kool-Aid is FLOWING like the salmon of Capistrano.....but this is a very flawed football team that lives on the edge every single week, defensively. Okudah can't cover everyone, and when you're HOPING for a Will Harris return so AO can sit down....that's not a good thing.

Kirby Joseph has been the beneficiary of a few bad throws in the last few weeks. He is 2 steps slow to get to the boundary on every fuckin deep ball....and someone is going to make us pay for that at some point.

Our pass rush is average to below average. We still rarely get pressure without blitzing.

The good news? Not sure if we have anyone left on the schedule that has the offensive ability to blow us out.

The bad news? If the offense has an off day......we lose. It's that simple. It's hard to imagine us having ANOTHER 4+ weeks with the offense hitting on all cylinders..especially when 2 of the games will be in less than ideal weather conditions.

I think they started yesterday but dare to dream. We are probably a year away. Gotta see this offense pass game on the road like they are at home. Maybe this could happen. Sadly we probably can?t root for the Vikings to lose out because we will need them to beat the
Giants. All those damn early close losses. All we need is one of these not to happen?.

One pick 6 not to happen in either the Eagles or Seattle game.. clock management in the Vikings game. Blown halftime lead against Miami. Damn all we need is 1 of those games ! Fumble on the one at Dallas.

Lions win out finish 10-7 !

Vikings 10-3 lose out finish 10-7 !

Well they did beat Green Bay 15-9. At home. But you are not wrong.

San Francisco is really banged up heading to Seattle Thursday. We need them to beat the Seahawks .

Who is more likely to go 1-2 if they lose Sunday Night. Giants or Washington. That's the big question. Based on schedule there I think Washington, so want Washington to lose Sunday Night to be a 1-3 finish. Preferably losing first 3 in case Dallas is resting Week 18

Seattle probably lose at Chiefs so it all comes down to that Jets game I think in Seattle. Seattle should beat the Rams (but you never know given the Carolina/Seattle game) and of course we want the Rams to lose too for draft pick. So Seattle going 0-2 the next two games is best case scenario so they can beat Rams in Week 18.

I think Lions have to beat the Jets because relying on winning at Green Bay in Lambeau is just not a good situation.

I think we need to beat the Jets and win in GB. The Was/Ny tie and tiebreaker vs Seattle aren?t on our side. We need to win out, every game is a must win!

That's obviously the best case scenario. 10-7 would very likely get us in.

That being said......very good teams have a hard time winning 6 in a row and 9 of 10. The Lions are NOT a very good team. They aren't. I know we are getting a LOT of media love right now and it's really nice to see.....but large issues still exist.

The defense still sucks. The secondary is so bad we're all hoping WILL FUCKING HARRIS will be healthy enough to play so we don't have to see AO playing valuable minutes. And the offense hasn't proven a damn thing on the road.....where 3 of our last 4 are being played.

We average 18.4 pts on the road and 32 at home. We are playing a REALLY good defense in NY. Defense needs to win a game for us there. It won't. Then to Carolina where we SHOULD be able to get a W. Home against Chicago. Better figure out how to stop Fields.....but should still get a W. At GB in January.....no way. Could be Rodgers last game and that place would be JACKED. Also, if we did get in to a win and in scenario and this IS AR's last game as a Packer....it would likely get bumped to prime time......where we will fall apart under the pressure and likely bad weather.

Lions finish 2-2. Win 8 games.....which is a damn good step over last year. We just flat out need more talent defensively to be a playoff team.

If Seattle 1-2 and Washington 1-3 (or Giants 1-3 but more likely Washington IMO), then Lions can lose one game at 9-8 and still get in

9-8 Lions
8-8-1 Washington
8-9 Seattle

6 game winning streak to end the season would be amazing considering the 1-6 start. 3 of 4 on the road is the cause for concern though

Hutch is sick. Hope he isn't limited like Okudah was. All hands on deck for the Jets. Look like Evan Brown and Will Harris are back which is good

He was sick on Thursday, and missed practice but was at practice Friday according to local radio show in Detroit.

I?m just super excited that the Lions are on the wildcard board. Win out and I think they get in at 10-7??9-8 is just a maybe. That damn tie really hurts. Three of last four on the road will,be a challenge for this young team. Hopefully they play like they did in the Giants game. Flying to the ball and popping guys !

Even if we miss the playoffs I would still be proud of the team. They are doing exactly what I was hoping for on year 2 if the rebuild.

Year 1 - tank
Year 2 - compete for a playoff spot
Year 3 - make playoffs and complete for the division.
