Ngata Hurt

33 td and 6 ints over 14 games. That is an mvp type season. Stafford has played well in both playoff games. Elite qb

I don't remember him playing well when we got utterly destroyed by the Saints.

97 rating with 65 completion 380 yards and 3 tds. One of two picks not his fault.

8.8 ypa

He played extremely well. Injury riddled defense did not. Delmas was a gimp, spievey played with a concussion and houston got hurt when we were leading in 2nd quarter

Saints were 13th in ppg allowed d. Lions scored 28 points on road

The problem is your memory

Again, stop with the last 14 games. It's two completely different seasons.

He was great at the end of last season.

It's a new season now, and he's been great through 6 games. Let's see how this goes when it matters most, which is now, when the team finally has to go on the road and to somewhat decent competition.

Its the same oc. Great and elite with cooter. Hope it continues

If we win the next 2. 11-5 in last 16 games. 11-5 in 2014

The 1-7 start to 2015 was the fluke

Hang a banner for your regular season triumphs. Sure the Lions would oblige.

I love how you are merging games together to combine into a great season.

Wake me up when they win a playoff game. Until then, stop with the regular season gloating. It doesn't mean a thing.

The NFL is all about QB's.....almost every good team has an elite, highly paid qb, with plenty of money left to build a team.

Brady
Rodgers
Ruthlessraper
Wilson
Ryan
Luck

You use Minnesota as an example.....but that team hasn't won a thing yet. I don't think its ever a good idea to let a very good player go unless you already have an equal or greater option ready to go.

We don't.

Also, for those people complaining......Matthew Stafford is the 20th highest paid NFL QB for 2016.....he makes $166,000 more than Sam Bradford......the Vikings QB.....who is 21st.

He is a top 5 cap hit. Salary isn't really that important. Some get more base salary, some got a larger signing bonus.

I'm not saying the money hasn't' been worth it this year, but saying 20th highest isn't really accurate in my mind, it's only part of the picture. He's routinely been one of the highest cap hits year over year.

3.1,12.9,6.1,8.9 in 2009 to 2012. So not high other than 2010. Old cba anyway, nothing they could do

Then they extended him. Was supposed to be 20.8 in 2013. Extension made it 17.8 ik 2013. Was supposed to be 19.3 in 2014. Extension made it 15.8 in 2014. 17.7 in 2015 would have been 17.7 under old deal too.

As you can see the extension, lowered his 2013 and 2014 cap hits and kept 2015 the same compared to the old cba deal that was forced upon us.

It was a great extension. That leaves backloaded 2016 and 2017. 2016 is 22.5, lions have ample cap space and stafford playing great. Worth the backload

2017 is 22 million. This is subject to change when they give him another extension, an extension that could lower his 2017 cap hit.

Staffords 2nd deal was an incredibly good deal. Lowered two years when cap space was at a premium in 2013 and 2014 and isnt crippling us in 2016 and 2017.

Lets analyze your bullshit shall we?

14 game stretch.

Have you ever heard an MVP of the league that went .500?

Dude is 7 -7 over those 14 games. Its the defenses fault you say?

2015
Arizona L 17 points scored. yippie.
Min L 19 points scored. Yippie
Chiefs L 10 points scored. Yippie.
Packers we won by scoring only 18. Yippie.
Raiders L. Scored 18. Yippie.
Im giving you the benefit of the doubt because for some reason you chose to only pick the last 14 games.....the 2 games before that were losses as well and we got smoked in both. Offense didnt do shit vs the seahawks.

2016
Titans L Offense scored 15. Yippie.
Bears L Offense scored 14. Yippie.

Defenses fault my ass. MVP my ass. Have you ever seen an MVP go .500 in his last 14 games? Anyone?

6-2 and 3-3. He is 9-5 not 7-7. Basic math

Last 8 2015, first 6 2016
Cooter time
33 tds 6 ints. That is mvp ball

Scored 27 in loss at lambeau. 18 in a win. That shows qb is not w-l stat. Also zero run game in both those lambeau games

All 5 of those losses were the refs fault

15 against titans. Try 20 with proper not calling opi on ebron

Also drops , a few sacks and bagillion penalties not staffords fault

Have you added up the bullshit opposing fans consider relevant?

And, can't believe you didn't call him on the Oakland result error. It was not an L.

All 9 of our wins were legit. Opposing fans have nothing to complain about. They should take their loss and be happy it wasnt by more points

Why should he stop with the last 14 games? It's the fucking truth. He's been nothing short of great for a year and a half. Now he has to go on the fucking road and prove himself? Lol. The kid is playing lights out
