OFFICIAL: Draft Day (Day One-Three)

The more I ponder this pick the more it's not making sense here, kick returner?

Broyles is a perfect pick in the 3rd or 4th if you are the fuckin' Pats, Green Bay or the Steelers, not when you are the damned Lions with no secondary or OL.

schwartz said his usual spiel about "chasing needs". FUCK that. broyles wouldn't have been drafted until the 3rd or 4th round. This smacks of chasing want.

There were guys that were highly rated that we NEEDed and he passed them up for a want. Broyles isn't going to stop Rodgers or Cutler. He's not going to tackle Peterson or Forte. This pick is a throw away.

The pick makes absolute sense, it's just not a pick I wanted.

The Lions go BPA, and this guy is a high octane receiver. His injury should put him back on the field soon, so he rated out highest on the Lions board.

For as much as we gloat about always going BPA, we sure do tend to cry a lot when that Best Player wasn't the best player we all wanted.

We said the same thing about Titus last year. Let's hope they know what they're doing and he pans out. That's all we can say.

I watched Broyles all year before he got hurt, he's the shit, but it's a huge gamble and a reach and there was talent there at other positions.

I have no problem with broyles, but he was taken WAY too early.

Broyles has skills no question but why did we take him and why in the 2nd rd. Seriously when was the last year we didnt take a WR?

My first question to MM in the presser:

"Ummm....you know he only has 1 knee, right?"

Schwartz says talent rules this board. "if you're chasing need in the draft, you're chasing the wrong thing.

I need a drink someone email me one

hell no, i loved the titus pick.

i like broyles as the player, but we could have had him so much later in this draft.

Just curious

Where would Broyles have gone if he hadn't gotten injured?
