Sandusky didn't just "suddenly" become a molester/pedo, he just got more and more blatantly so, probably by his mid-20s if not earlier, he began to become solicitous of young boys, and increasingly positioned himself quite successfully to have unfettered and unsupervised access to them. He was not interested at all in post-pubescent youngsters, so those that he coached in college were not his targets, but his position @ PSU reinforced and gave much more legitimacy towards his being trustworthy and respected.

Pedos tend to gravitate to careers in which they can gradually build up a strong reputation of being perceived as being respected, honorable, unquestionable, and authoritative mentors of young men/children in the community. Paterno, according to what I have read did not attend Sandusky's retirement party in 99, and Jerry claimed that Joe hadn't spoken to him since. Paterno knew damned well that Sandusky was a pederast. After a few months of nothing being done by the PSU brass about what McQueary witnessed, Joe should have threatened to resign, and at the very least, asked McQueary to accompany him talk to a member of the media and law enforcement about what he had witnessed.

If it were me, I would have grabbed my or any phone nearby and immediately called the university cops as well as the local law enforcement, after I tried to put a stop to what was happening, no matter whether or not that boy was a "willing" participant while being sodomized by Sandusky.

I have little doubt that young boys were being pimped out by Sandusky, those being the ones that were participants at his "second mile" program, since he became quite proficient at discovering who amongst them were the most vulnerable, exploitable, and gullible, and he most likely had unfettered access to their records and background. He and his wife adopted 6 children, Sandusky claimed that they were unable to produce any of their own..hmm...seems like their maritial relationship might have been somewhat less than what could be considered typical, and I wonder if any of their own adopted kids were being molested by him as well.

Same with his probably inevitable imprisonment, whether Sandusky pleads guilty or not to his 40 counts, as his sentencing will likely be long enough to span the remainder of his life, whether or not he actually receives a life sentence by the judge for imprisonment. This morning it dawned on me... How in the holy hell did McQuery not shatter Sandusky on the spot?!

We've all agreed he should have called the cops, but as I thought this morning about what I'd have done in his shoes, I realized there is no way I'd have just turned my back and walked away to begin with. I'd have broken it up right then and there and probably dropped the old fart like a bad habit.

Uhh..yeah "some observers" WTF?? This judge had absolutely no business for being involved in Sanduskys arraignment, b/c of her connection to Sandusky's Second Mile organization and should have recused herself immediately, IMO.

He comes out a second time (after being told no doubt) and tells people to "pray for the victims"? Are you fn kidding me with this guy?
