Yeah they would. You have knowledge and don't worry days later of what happened to the child? Who does that? And my first reaction to a friend would be "wtf".

That is why I put it in quotes as sarcasm, the boy had apparently stopped resisting Sandusky, since McQueary did not mention that he heard the boy screaming and crying during the incident, just hearing "noises" of a sexual nature.

Same with his probably inevitable imprisonment, whether Sandusky pleads guilty or not to his 40 counts, as his sentencing will likely be long enough to span the remainder of his life, whether or not he actually receives a life sentence by the judge for imprisonment. Hopefully he will experience far worse than what he meted out to his individually abused victims, repeatedly being beaten senseless for days, weeks and months by a prison-posse and gang-raped as well by fellow inmates, and after a year or two, he then gets "Dahmered".

This morning it dawned on me... How in the holy hell did McQuery not shatter Sandusky on the spot?!
We've all agreed he should have called the cops, but as I thought this morning about what I'd have done in his shoes, I realized there is no way I'd have just turned my back and walked away to begin with. I'd have broken it up right then and there and probably dropped the old fart like a bad habit.
What in the fuck was McQuery thinking to just walk away from something like that and leave the kid with Sandusky ... and then tell someone later?
ofcourse mcquery is testifying that he broke it up. He also confirmed it in a bunch of emails espn got a hold of yesterday. All just damage control to make himself look like less of a pussy. If a sexual act was broken up he would have been in jail 10 years ago.inkfreq said:I've been trying to put myself in Joe's shoes since this story came out, and ask myself what I honestly would have done if I were him.

I don't wish ill will on the guy, but it seems rather convenient to release this information at this time when the heat is thick and there is an outcry of rage and anger against the man. Was this something that has been known about for awhile, and just now they decided to come forth? Or is this a bunch of BS to bring sympathy for the old man? It saddens me to think this way...but the timing is much too suspect with all that is going on, and the more information that is given to the public, the less he looks in the eyes of society.
