The tragedy of the whole thing is the children who were hurt in all of this. At the end of the day, that's really all that matters.
I hope whoever allowed this to happen pays a dear price for it all. I have a hard time believing that Paterno knew as much as the media is letting on, or did as little as they say, but if I am wrong on that, I hope he pays as much as anyone else for being complicit in something like this.
The truth for me is that I have a ton of respect for JoePa and everything he has done in that community, and I really don't want to believe he knew or stood silent. He said "let the legal process unfold" and I really want to give him the benefit of the doubt until there is real proof otherwise.
I lost all respect for Jo Pa. Jerry Sandusky is his friend and this stinks of a cover up. He knew about it and Sandusky got fired over it. Then, Jo Pa allows him to bring kids back onto the campus?
