Why would it not have been equally as good for the Spartans for Duke to have lost as it would?ve been for the Wolverines?

All the talking heads I hear have the Spartans right up there with Michigan as potential challengers for the NCAA title, and any Duke loss could potentially have benefited the Spartans as much as it would have the Wolverines.

Yeah on the road against a ranked conference opponent it was about what should’ve been expected.

There is obviously more than a 99% chance that Michigan is going to lose this season; and it would be nice to see them ranked #1 at least for one week before that happens.

Having been ranked number one at any time during the season can only help and never hurt a team when it comes to seedings for the tournament.

Not that the world either flourishes or parishes upon that.

Maybe true about last 12 months. But coach K has what 5 ncaa titles. If we had 1 of those freshmen over say any bench players we have right now that may and probably will contribute in the next few seasons we would be the clear cut favorites to win it all. I get that maybe Jb does not go after the top guys as hard as some other schools. Man those freshmen for Duke are something. I’d love to snag one of those kids to go along with Iggy.I sure hope Duke chokes in the Ncaa.

Maybe the last yearish but coach k. Has 5 ncaa titles . But one of those top Freshmen Duke has would sure look great along side Iggy.

I'd love to play Duke... and after seeing what cocky pricks Gonzaga are, would love to play them too.



Everytime I think to myself "We just don't have the talent those teams have" I remember what we did to UNC... a team that does have the talent those teams have, except maybe for Zion.

Pittsburgh smokes #11 Fsu at home 75-62.
Nebraska rolls #25 Indiana on the road 66-51.
#19 Maryland Holds on 64-60.
Texas at # 7 Kansas. Jayhawks win 80-78.
