Well, some things have happened the last few days
Duke barely survived on the road at FSU. We all knew that. Then Duke lost at home to Syracuse in OT 95-91, in game where Cam Reddish missed the game and Tre Jones (is that his real name? I thought there was a rule now where players had to be listed by their legal name. Tre is usually a nickname, whatever) got hurt and didn't play in a large portion of the game. Does this really mean that Duke is not #1? I don't know. Missing 2 of their starters probably affected the outcome of that game, but no one ever feels sorry for MIchigan when they have injuries.
Florida St went on the road and got soundly beaten at unkranked Pitt, 75-62
Kansas barely held off Texas @Kansas, 80-78
Nebraska pounded IU at IU, 66-51
Maryland beat Wisconsin at Maryland, 64-60. Wisconsin has lost 4 our their last 5 leading up to this Sunday's game against Michigan.
#4 Virginia remained undefeated, defeating #9 Virginia Tech, 81-59.
UNC beat Notre Dame, 75-69.
I don't consider a game @UW to be a trap game. There is no reason for the team to not know this will be a tough test.
There will be some debate if they deserve to be #1 if they win, but if they don't, then they definitely won't be. Virginia and Tennessee both have good arguments.
We've had trouble winning at Kohl Center and Assembly Hall (the IU version, not the UI version). But that was during times we generally were not very good and both UW and IU were, so I am curious to see how we do over the next week. nothing would surprise me.

To be fair, we've had trouble winning at IU even when we had our best teams. I believe we are 13-66 all-time at IU now.
Maryland beats OSU 75-61. 4 straight losses for those fuckers. OSU is now 10th in the Big 10.

Probably Tennessee moves up to #1. A case could still be made for Duke even with the Syracuse loss. More quality wins than probably anyone, won at FSU when Zion barely played. Beat Virginia (albeit at home) without their PG. After that you can put UVa, Gonzaga, and UM there in any order and MSU is sneaking up into that group. Myself I'd put UVa at #3. They have dominant wins against VTech and FSU, who people were thinking were pretty good before running into them and a road win vs Maryland that is starting to look pretty good. And losing by 2 at Duke is hardly shameful.
But then again the less that basketball rankings are talked about the better since ultimately they are a waste of one's breath.
I could give 2 shits about rankings right now. I think what most people here are interested in is sticking around the #1 ranking, so we can get a 1 seed.
