Other Games - NCAA Basketball version

All I care about is being ranked #1 at some point during the season.

If we had beat Wisconsin to get that #1 ranking today, but then lost all our remaining games and missed the tournament completely, I'd be okay with that.

All I care about is Jb and his team winning game 6 of the Ncaa tournament! I just really don’t care about the rankings. It does bother me that the wolverines do not get as much respect aas other national programs sometimes. But that seems to happen a lot.

We were dropped to #5 in the AP.

#1 - Tennessee
#2 - Puke
#3 - Virginia
#4 - Gonzaga - they don't deserve to be here
#5 - Michigan
#6 - MSU

Both Michigan and MSU should be ahead of Gonzaga. Gonzaga hasn't played a relevant basketball team since they were beat down by UNC.

How in the holy fuck did MSU get 2 first place votes? Is that even possible that a team ranked 6th has EVER received first place votes? What a joke.

1) their losses were over a month ago
2) they've been playing really well since then

Sagarin has them having played the toughest SOS out of anyone else in his top 10.

Honestly, as things stand right now I wouldn't rank us above MSU until I see us beat them in East Lansing. They're a better team than they were last year.

We still have to prove we can win on the road; they've done a better job of that.

I think because of how well they are playing without some starters. Msu is really deep. Plus those 2 losses were a long time ago.

Im surprised we are still ahead of MSU honestly. They look a lot better right now in my opinion.

We should be 4th and they should be 5th. We've only lost one game.

Since Big 10 play picked back up, we have beat PSU by 13, dominated IU, won at Illinois by 10, beat NW by 20, and played one shitty offensive game at the Kohl Center.

MSU's playing really well right now, but so are we. We just had a bad game on Saturday.

2-1 on the road in conference so far, 7 Conference road games left.

That projects to two or three more road losses.

Undefeated at home is a reasonable possibility.

I think our guys will probably lose at East Lansing.

Got to beat them at home and then in the tournament or go farther than them should Michigan and Michigan State not meet up there.

I like our guys? chances in the tournament again- does any other team have any players that have been on a big 10 tournament championship winning team? That experience could be a factor.

Msu is playing way better then Michigan and are much deeper off the bench.

#14 Buffalo down 3 under two minutes at No. Illinois .Now down 3 with ball with 18 seconds left. Massenburg nails a NBA three with 6.4 left. Huskies hit a nice layup with a tad under a second left. Huskies up 2 . Btw find a picture of the Huskies home court. It is really weird looking. First win verses a ranked opponent for the Huskies since 1973. 77-75.

MSU tore through the regular season last year. Izzo's gotta prove he can still win in March. They've been incredibly underwhelming recently with the amount of talent he's had.

They've been winning games consistently this year, while dealing with injuries though.

and just from watching them play, they move the ball better and don't look as selfish and disjointed as they did last year.

plus they've been able to keep a lower profile this year because of the hype we got after killing Villanova and UNC. in past years, they've been burdened by high expectations.

I have noticed a dramatic reduction in floor slapping ...

they finally studied film and noticed how many buckets they gave up when they were standing around slapping at the floor.

opposing players would blow right past them for easy layups.

I have never seen anyone ever slap a floor while standing.

Purdue hands OSU their 5th loss in a row.
