Pistons Trade ideas

Um. Yes. OKC has a gazillion picks, and now they are saddled with a massive contract. They would absolutely take on expiring deals to get rid of CP3.

If you have a 100k in your savings, does that mean you have to share it? No. Same w okc, just because they have the picks doesn?t mean they?ll give them away.

If you want the picks maybe take on Adams with something and picks for Blake.

CP3 was just traded for an MVP talent. HE HAS VALUE!

OKC is making it clear they are rebuilding for the future. Chris Paul is not part of any future for any team. He's got 1-3 good years left, he's constantly injured, and he's got an albatross for a contract. Teams are not going to be lining up to bring him on.

Just because he?s not part of OKC long term plans doesn?t mean they?ll give him away AND throw in draft picks. It?s not every day an All Star PG for the next 2 seasons is in the market.

If Detroit doesn?t make a move to help Griffin, he?ll be traded by the deadline this year. Blake isn?t going to waste his prime years w the current Pistons roster. Mark my words.

Pony up and bring in some help, or plan a rebuild!

Watch out for a team like Philly. If they truly feel like they can win this year, Simmons may be on the move. Add a true PG and a shooter-scorer like Gallinari, would make them a playoff contender. W Simmons, they are who they are.

I'm not arguing about the Blake side of things. He will absolutely want to get the hell out of here.

But, he has a history with Paul. Those two have already proven combustible. Detroit is currently going through the process of clearing space and getting cheaper, more manageable contracts. They aren't going to take a risk on Chris Paul's giant contract without getting some additional stuff. OKC has an absolute crap ton of 1st round picks; so much so that they won't be able to use them all.

They?ll use them on young players, package up multiple picks to move up in a draft before the fork them over w CP3 for expiring contract.

this is what I was going to say. You don't have to use all of the picks...just use them as assets to trade. Having all of those picks will help them move up in drafts to get the guys they want.

I’m pretty confident that okc will have to give up some of those picks for anyone to tsk Ron a injured prone Paul and his huge contract.
Last four years Chris has played 58, 58, 61, and 74. He has only played 82 games once in 14 seasons, and averages 67 games over his 14 seasons. Last four it’s only 63 games a season. Okc for sure will have to give up one of those 1st to get rid of that contract.

Simmons, 76ers have 5-year, $170M deal

The Philadelphia 76ers and star Ben Simmons have agreed to a five-year, $170 million maximum extension, Simmons' agent Rich Paul confirmed to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

The sides had until mid-October to finalize the extension of Simmons' rookie deal, but Paul and Sixers general manager Elton Brand completed the deal significantly sooner.

Getting Beal in any situation would be a dream for me . He was on my fantasy team so i watched almost all his games . True superstar who can SHOOT THE BALL . I'd do almost anything to get him

Piston could be instant contenders in the East if they could snag him.

It seems a deal (CP3) is trying to be worked out with Miami. I read that atm they're hung up on pick compensation.

The nba only has a handful of ?superstars? in the league and Beals not one of them. Good player but far from a superstar.

My guy CJ McCollum is on the same level as Beal!

Pistons have the same problem theyve had for the past decade. They make moves to get themselves in the 8-15 purgatory so they literally never get better. You need to either suck real bad or be real good in this league. Trade everyone for cash and suck ass and i bet you become a eastern conf contender faster than trotting out D Rose and Blake with absolutely zero bench.

Have Portland even said he was available? I have not heard he is but I am all for getting either player. Beal is 6?5. Cj is 6?3 so I lean Beal but either player make the pistons better. CJ May cost a tad less but I doubt that.

No no no...I?m sorry, I was misunderstood there. I?m a Blazer fan, from Portland. I was just trying to make a point that Beal is good, but not a superstar. On the same level as a player like Cj. Both players are capable of 25ppg averages, especially giving circumstances.

I wonder if a Colin Sexton would be a good option for you guys? Maybe a Reggie Jackson/protected 1st for Larry Nance/Sexton. Then turn around and trade Blake to Blazers 😁

Maybe. but I would rather have the draft pick then Sexton. i guess that is why you protect it. if we are going to get a shooting guard we need him to average over 20.. I would love either Beal or CJ. Sexton maybe. Well id the Piston's finally do go all in on a draft re-due Portland is a ok spot for me for Blake. Give him a shot at winning a few rounds in the playoffs in the loaded west.
