Player Signings - 2014 Offseason

hmmm before the new cap was there? I thought you used to be able to tender someone at any round. anyways....lkp sucks and uses a bunch of stats to incorrectly guess what happens all the time. If I was wrong as much as him id probably dive off a diving board into a pool with no water. Lkp uses foresight....a foresight that is never correct. need stats to back up my claim? "fox wont get injured" "Pettigrew wont suck" "defense will cause more turnovers" Ding ding ding....that's a big 0 for 3 there LKP.....youre so dumb....

Pettigrew didn't suck when healthy and the Lions forced 5 more turnovers this year compared to last. You are wrong yet again hughes.

But go ahead and deflect how you have no clue on how the restricted tenders work and you were just trying to sound smart but you were actually being an ass. "Oh I think a 2nd is too high, we should give him a 3rd rounder tender". LOL hughes, I always know more than you and will always know more than you. All you have is hindsight pretending like you said it beforehand.

"broyles will step in" hows that one working out for you. Youre always wrong....I cant think of a time you were ever right....about anything unless your copying an dpasting some irrelevant stat you got from some stupid site. damn, it must suck to be you.

And the old cap was
original round
round 2
round 1
and round 1 and 3

Never just a round 3. Keep trying hughes. You lose every time.

Got hurt. Freak injury and was making some nice catches early in the season when playing. Lots of targets to go around. And did step up in 2012 when healthy. I'm rarely wrong. Broyles has talent, everyone knows it.

Unlucky injuries saved you on that one. And you loved our weapons in 2011. You loved Best and Young. I showed everyone proof.

hughes you only have hindsight. You are usually wrong and pessimistic because you are very misinformed about this team. It's like you are a Packer fan pretending to be a Lions fan.

I didn't know that either. So basically, the Lions can offer him he 2nd round tender and are forced to pay him that regardless if any other team negotiates with him? If they don't offer him anything does he then become an unrestricted FA?

Don't admit to that. If you don't know everything about the NFL you'll get the label of knowing nothing about football. I got labeled that by Tony because I didn't know who a special team player previous team was..

You absolutely have to know everything about the NFL. I obviously didn't know there wasn't a 3rd round tender either.

So I'm surrounded by the misinformed. It's ok. I'll teach you.

And who cares how talented Broyles is and I don't care anymore if he was picked too high - it's the fact for a 2nd round pick he has little production. 2nd round picks should be starters, not bench warmers.

2nd round picks do produce and would produce. Unless they get hurt unluckily or go crazy unforseen.

He didn't produce when healthy either...or do you not remember all the "time for broyles to step up" articles when Nate went down....and he proceeded to do nothing.

He did produce. Wasn't fully healthy and lots of targets to go around. Burleson played first 3 weeks, Calvin/Pettigrew/Fauria/Bush/Bell. Lots of other targets first.

Why is it that every injury is labeled unlucky? Unfortunate, sure - kind of a bummer but unlucky. NE had boat loads and win games. You talk about CJ and no one else. How about Seattle and Carolina..those teams wish they had our WR core. Carolina has Smith, always injured, Seattle with an injured Harvin. They have defenses but as far as the QB play both better than Stafford.

Seattle lost Rice too....they have a 5 foot nothing slot golden tate as their #1 wr. They lost half their secondary to injury or suspensions.

Do we have to revisit all of NEs injuries this year?

We had very few injuries and theres no excuse why we shouldn't have won more than 7 games....except the fact were just not very good.

Better run game, better d, and Wilson can run. Don't need wrs in Seattle. Baldwin did well though. And Tate is a second round pick that gets targets. Zach miller is a high priced te

Ne plays in AFc east. Lions win that division since 2011 imo

Wilson only threw it 400 times. Clearly not a passing team. Stafford similar dts and ints at 400 attempts

Seatless offense with lions defense especially with only 22 turnovers forced don't win more than 7 games. Most likely less. Stafford and Calvin can lead a team more than Wilson lynch

How about his 26 TDs in 400 attempts, I bet he'd have more than Matt if he had more. Eh? Or do you not consider that..

He only considers that when hes talking about staffs tds....it doesn't count when you talk about staffs picks or another qbs tds.
