In truth, no it's not. The whole goal this year was to build off a 9-7 campaign and finally see a season with playoff success. They were supposed to be better than this.

When do like Lions ever do this. 27 years without playoff success.. 1 in my lifetime is bad but if you're say early 30's or younger you haven't seen any. This team always disappoints. New HC and OC and GM's won't change that. I never for once at the start of the season thought we were better than this.

I sure as heck thought they were better than 5-9. Most of the same team returning from last year, new coach who would supposedly put them over the top. Most projections had them within the same as last year or potentially a slight uptick. Not this bad.

Your opinion is shit though. This is coming from a guy (YOU) who hates on this team 24/7, a guy who admittedly claimed that he doesn't watch the Lions. They went 9-7 last yr. They were supposed to be better. Nobody and I mean nobody takes you serious. They're lying to you if they say they do...

You want a projection talk to a long time Detroit Lions fan. Most of the team returning was the problem, defense was still bad. Even if you're a big fan of our QB (Not you directly) you have to admit he's about as inconsistent as they come. His whole career has been like that.
