You want a projection talk to a long time Detroit Lions fan. Most of the team returning was the problem, defense was still bad. Even if you're a big fan of our QB (Not you directly) you have to admit he's about as inconsistent as they come. His whole career has been like that.

Stafford's been one of the best QBs in the league the last few yrs. Get your head outta your ass. This yr he's regressed for some reason. Time for a new offense to get the juices flowing again.

I always basically assess a 7-9 to 9-7 range with this franchise. I forgot what the stat was, but over the past seven years or something, they are basically .500. This season is an odd regression to the days where they sucked even worse.

I never get "disappointed" with them because I am ridiculously apathetic. I watch with little to no passion, and I'll be back in once they show they know how to win. I hope that happens soon, because the really passionate dudes such as yourself should be treated to some joy.

Didn't you say everyone predicted 8-10 wins? Maybe the media but Lions fans sure didn't.. Because we know as Lions fans you can't have nice things. Up until about 2012 I was between you and LKP. I use to argue my uncle saying Harrington was a good QB. I was always pro Lions and Mr. enthusiastic. It gets to a point where you can't do it any more.

I was foolish to buy into Patrica taking a 9-7 team and making them better. Nagy sure has worked in Chicago who is 10-4. Reich has Indy at 8-6. Mike Verbel has Tennessee at 8-6. Some were saying both Nagy and Reich to be the worst of the bunch in the first season. It just shows what a few deals and drafting well can do for a team. Sometimes you hit home runs. Sometimes you don’t. The rest of the new coaches have not done very well. So maybe we hit some home runs next season. One thing is for sure this next off season Quinn better hit home Runs or next year will probably be his last. What is frustrating is that 9-7 would probably be at least a wildcard spot. Now I hope they lose the next two and get a higher draft pick.

9-7 just wasnt going to happen this year....clear holes in the starting lineups that werent addressed. We put all our eggs in the "fix the run game and it will make the entire team better" basket...someone needs to sit the leadership of this team down after the season and let them know that helped us for like 2 games....great fucking job dumbasses.

Defense was going to suck and Kerryon will get injured. After Kerryon gets injured Stafford will suck. Thats what i said about the lions season before it started. Call me fucking nostradomus!

Defense has improved some....Davis has shone signs and the OLBs are getting more sacks then i expected. Downside being when they dont get a sack there is literally no pressure on the opposing QB and he has all day to find the wide open WR because our secondary is so brutal. Christian Jones needs to be gone.....hasnt made a play all year. Need dline depth next year. Need a stud pass rusher. Need a LB. Need 2 corners. When you need that much that means you suck.

This is only somewhat true. The Lions had plenty of guys to get them to 9-7. Our OC really does sucks, our qb is having a really down season, injuries. Defense has played well enough to win some of the games they have lost. New head coach was just not ready to be a head coach yet. This next off season will tell us if he and Quinn can get it together for next season.

Marvin and lang and kerryon. Plus a tate trade. That is alot to lose for HALF the season. Dont act like it was just kerryon injury that killed the lions

Agnew out kills special teams and nickel

Run d took some time and harrison add. That hurt lions early

Decker wagner ragnow and glagow should be better. Lang hurt and it fell apart there. These are high picks and big fa money. They cant fail. They were good before lang hurt..then they failed and 3 weapons were not on field

Shead and Lawson and tabor was quinns attempt at secondary..slay regressed and some injury too. Quinn needs to do much better finding dbs. Shead had success elesewhere, lawson was never this bad and a 2nd rounder in year 2 you would think makes a jump. But no pass rush didnt help..though hand and kennard and okwara, the additions quinn made did do some good things

Then you have quin taking a big regression..walker has done well in limitrd snaps. Diggs is solid but still gives up a play if no pass rush
