Preseason Game 1: Browns @ Lions Thread

For which team? The Browns? You'd think so after those cheesedick announcers. I swear that was LKPs cousins from Ohio.

I really want to see Cleveland's version of LKP now...I miss ESPN sometimes

OK I watched the whole game but after listening to post game on the NFLN I guess they watched a different game than I did. They said the Browns offense looked really good and Manziel had a solid night. It got so bad that they were showing highlights and were still talking Johnny when Kellen threw the TD and they barely mentioned it,

According to the box score Kellen Moore was a hellva lot better than craplosky Kellen Moore should be elevated to #2

@ttwentyman: Caldwell said giving Kellen Moore more reps with the regulars is something he would consider moving forward

I agree with that statement, but I think it's going to take a couple games of that for Moore to pass Orlovsky in Caldwell's eyes unfortunately.

I hope not, craplosky shouldn't even be on an nfl roster let alone a backup, he was flat out atrocious when he was here the first time and may actualy be even worse this here second time around.

match up nightmare ebron was blanketed by a rookie lb I never heard of the entire game. He had a nice drop too! nice start rook :D

Having a hard time deciding if grandy or cheenos one liners were better throughout the thread....then outta nowhere mitch chimes in with a beauty "after the game gotta watch the tape...get a better look" lmao.

Sports Center honestly showed every single one of his plays. Come on.

That's why you don't watch it. No ESPN for 4 years now. I hate that channel. Not that NFLN isn't slobbering all him either..mute button is your friend.

So glad I didn't watch this game. Watching grown men gargle other grown men's ballsacks is not my idea of a good time in front of the TV/Computer.

Fast forward to 12:15 and watch it for about 30 seconds. Here is the transcript:

Announcer 1: "That ball hit him right in the kneecap"
Announcer 2: "If I'm the quarterback that's right where I want to put it".

I really thought the issues with Ebron had more to do with Orlovsky throwing late and allowing the defense to catch up. the one down the sideline should have been a flag.

Jeremy Ross stud returner
Stafford to Tate was thing of beauty
Bell looked good
Moore looked great
Slay did well on gordon
We need more pressure

Very realistic of you. Thing of beauty is a little much for a 12 yard seem pass....but for the most part i agree with your post. Your last point means the most...suh fairley ansah hopefully changes that. Defense looked very vanilla...to be expected in the preaseason.

He did drop a ball that hit him in the hands. He should have more space when calvin is on the field. If calvin goes down we will have the same problems as last year.... neither ebron our tate are going to be game breakers that create huge amounts of seperation versus an honest defense.

100% should have been a flag. Ebron had him beat. Not by much, but that LB was beat. Made a nice catch on a horrible throw too....he was off balance and the LB stopped him for a short gain. The ball he "dropped" looked like the LB got a hand in there, but it was close. The defender was draped all over him.
