Preseason Game 3: Lions @ Jaguars Thread

That wasn't a TD and it was a fumble lol. Lets see if the refs screw us again

We've come so far with technology in sports. Is it that impossible to put some type of chip in the ball that will automatically alert the refs when even the slightest piece of it touches the end zone?

PI has become the single biggest play in football. What did Mathis do? There is no rule that the DB HAS to play the ball. He didn't push.....didn't hold an arm....he was just running with the WR.

Or, put it this way, what did Mathis do that the guy covering Pettigrew in Dallas didn't do. Looked pretty damn similar to me.

NFL officiating is a joke. What good is replay if they still find a way to consistently get it wrong?

Hard to say since they didn't show a replay on the biggest play of the game.

The only thing that could have possibly been called was that Mathis never really turned his head, but the ball looked uncatchable to me. It was a bad call followed by a horrible TD call lol.

There is no rule that a DB has to play the ball.......only if he has his hands on the WR.

Tate and Staff have a pretty good connection. Hope both he and Cj can play 15 this year. Could be a really explosive O.
