Red Sox @ Detroit Game #7 ~April 6th ~ 2023

Greene you dumb ass hit the cut off man or at least throw to second base. You had no shot to get the runner at 3rd.

Dumb base running. Shouldn?t Duvall stay at 3rd ?

So why was Cisnero brought in early instead of the other guys who get outs ?
I think he gave up a 2 or 3 run homer in Tampa Bay too.
He just isn?t the same pitcher as a few years ago.

I know it's early, but last year everyone was slobbering all over Chris Fetter. Right now, the Tigers ERA is 6.23, 2nd worst in baseball.

a good bullpn piece typically can do 2 things
1. first and foremost throw strikes
2. have one dominant pitch..he can throw..even when the hitter knows its coming they can't hit it..

so far DET has one of those guys..Alex Lange and he struggles with the strikes part..

Tigers' relievers have inherited 15 runners in the first seven games and nine of them have scored.

keep preaching that the success of an AJ Hinch team is bullpen reliability..Scott Harris has provided AJ Hinch..not one reliable reliever.

Red Sox 6 - Tigers 3: Wasted opportunities sink Detroit in home opener.
A rough Jose Cisnero outing and a lot of bad swings sank the Tigers in their home opener.

Bullpen can't save Spencer Turnbull in Detroit Tigers' 6-3 loss to Red Sox in home opener.

My friend, a Giants' fan, takes the [blame] for the Tigers implosion. He turned the game on and the Tigers "immediately gave up four runs." He claims that the Tigers lose whenever he watches them, which is seldom.

I?m sure he?s the reason.

Because they never lose whenever anybody else watches them.

I knew a women out here who hails from the D who, when the Red Wings were good, never watched them on TV because she thought herself a jinx.

Not much of an auspicious start our Tigers are off to this season.

I think six games are on national television. The first one is April 22.
