So by all accounts, this is where things sit with Okung:
*He has narrowed it down to the Steelers, Lions, Giants.
*In Pittsburgh he would be the starting LT, no question, but the Steelers have the least available to spend of the three.
*In Detroit he would likely be a LT, assuming Rieff doesn't refuse to switch spots on the line and create a problem. The Lions have the most to spend.
*In New York he would likely be a RT with Ereck Flowers remaining at LT and he's not excited about moving to the right side.
It seems as though the Lions have the edge, assuming (there's that word again) they are actually willing to spend the money they can. Just because they have the most available doesn't mean they have made the largest offer.
All visits are completed and he should make his decision this week. Acting as his own agent, he's done a very thorough and quality job for himself by all accounts, but there isn't expected to be much haggling over legal language in a deal at this point.
