Ryan Broyles unhappy with role, vents on Twitter

I would hope not....but if it happens ill be calling for caldwells head. cant manage a clock and probably cost us the game vs buf. then gives PT to a guy crying about PT after a division win on the road? broyles deserves to never see the field again imo...

I would join you on that lynching, bro..lol. Trust me. ;)

Offense is still horrid Tony. This offense couldn't beat Buffalo, and won't beat any of the good offenses we play the rest of the season. I'll write off Broyles when/if Fuller starts making plays. Right now, Broyles should be out there.

My impression from the Buffalo game was they thought they could either use CJ as a decoy or he might actually be healed up enough come game time that he would be part of the offense.

Him being definitely out forced the team (especially Lombardi and Stafford) to focus on getting others involved. The windy conditions coupled with the OL having a tough time vs Vikes DL added to the issues of the new adjustments not working 100% yet.

Add in the kicker issues and it changes one's perspective. Prater hitting those 2 missed FGs ends in a 23-3 victory and anytime you win by 20+ points in today's NFL is a good day for the offense and defense...so the ST had a bad day, but hopefully Prater finds his groove and that BS stops.

Why hasn't Broyles had more opportunities given the minimal production we've seen from other wide receivers?

"First of all, in terms of minimal production, I'd say a lot of that is not because of the fact of the receivers," Caldwell said.

"There's a lot of factors involved in that, you know. It kind of all boils down to the same thing. Our passing game has not been as productive as we'd like to see it and it's not as productive as you're going to see it.

Whatever the **** that means

It's obvious us fans are not the only ones questioning why Broyles is not used

The Caldwell bot is on the fritz again.

Why do you see this? because of all the grocery baggers and car salesmen he was torching during the preseason? Cmon, man!! This is the same argument as "start Kellen Moore". It holds no weight...it's an empty argument. Broyles has done **** all to justify a shot for more PT.

Very good route runner and has good hands. Not amazing athleticism or measureables. Add white/Caucasian into that description and ask everyone to come up with a Wide Receiver they prolly say Wes Welker. Ryan has the same qualities but he isn't white and doesn't have Tom Brady or Peyton Manning.

That's what most thought after his first acl tear, not so sure people see him in the same light after another acl tear, and a ruptured Achilles though. Either way, he's still a better receiver than Fuller and Ross combined.

Im not sure where you guys are pulling all this crap about broyles out of......hes played in 19 games and has 31 receptions and 2 tds. Hes a ghost. He does nothing when hes on the field. And hes a slot who has atleast 3 people infront of him. Hes a perfect player to make an example out of after the shit he pulled...but our GM is probably too busy watching youtube somewhere.

The reason is obvious..he's not getting in done at practice and earning it. He hasn't done jack shit his short career to be worthy of more playing time.

Based on what? Maybe he's not getting PT because he's crying about it. He hasn't earned being out there more..

If he wants to play so damn bad, he needs to earn it simple as that. Apparently he hasn't been up to snuff or else he would be playing more.

Corey Fuller has earned pt by doing exactly what? Being 6'2 and catching a pass every other game. Explore some different options is all I'm saying, even if it's not Broyles. Fuller is doing nothing, and this offense obviously needs help.

I've been trying to tell mayhew to sign Stephen hill. ... he's not listening.

So maybe we should sit Ebron since he's not doing a whole lot either..Fuller has 6 for 91, I suspect Broyles wouldn't be doing more..

The offensive problems are OLINE/Stafford. They have enough WR.

You suspect? Lol. Broyles can run routes, that's what he's known for, I SUSPECT Broyles would produce more than Fuller because he actually knows how to play WR, hints why he is one of the most successful wrs in ncaa history.

And yet in the NFL he's shown he's crap..guess what former Lion had over 2500 yards in one college football season? Means nothing..

Fullers 1 reception per game means nothing. Never targeted because he can't get open. When Broyles gets his shot here or elsewhere and lives up to his moniker of "the next Wes Welker", I don't wanna hear shit from you clowns.

The next Wes Welker, lol. Who gave him that? And 1 catch a game, though it's actually 1.5, is better than what Broyles has done. We can't even get our TE touches and now we're suppose to get Broyles in there..lol.

I heard Kevin Smith was the next Eric Dickerson..lol.

Our qb has no time to throw the ball and we have a wr out there playing in Fuller that can only do only one thing, stretch the field. Brilliant. The offense struggling has a lot to do with the wasted starting wr spot Fuller is occupying. We don't need to try and replace Calvin while he's out, we need to attack the defenses differently. Tate and Broyles have the ability to get open quickly by running good routes and getting separation on those routes. Fuller trying to replace CJ is just plain comedy to me.
