Not their fault, just as it wasn't their fault when the higher seeds failed to take care of business in UM's bracket last year. Besides, I don't see Michigan making as deep a run this year.

I was fearing MSU, Duke, and Virginia and they won't face them unless they all make it to the final.

Yes, this was better than I was hoping it would ever get for Michigan as of this morning.

Off the top of my head, I remember twice when Michigan was in the Western regional-last year and the second year of the Fab five-and both teams made it to the championship game.

Oh plus, the regional semi final and final are in Anaheim, just down the road.

So maybe I will go.

ESPN Bracketology has MSU as 2 in the west and Michigan as 2 in the east. Just the opposite of how it turned out.

KenPom had them 4/5 overall.

In my opinion, the 2 seeds are better than the ones. Duke being top seed is bullshit. They got punked twice by NC and got lucky and beat them by one in the tourney final. It is what it is. Gonzage being 1 is quite ridiculous. No way they beat us or MSU.

I hate Gonzaga. They are good, but they should never be a 1 seed. Dec 15th is the last time they played a good team. There is no way a team that gets a 3 month bye should even be considered for a 1.

MSU has a legit beef...not being a 2 seed but being placed in that region. UM got the best deal getting put in the region with the weakest 1 seed.

Any team over 25 wins. I hate that mediocre teams in conference get bids.
It is like all the little league teams getting a ribbon. Reward teams that have fantastic records.
That Texas was even considered at 16-16 is a joke. Oh and I disagree that Gonzaga isn’t that good. Maybe not a #1 seed good, MSU should have gotten that. They are rewarding osu because Wesson was suspended for 3 losses. I say bullshit a 19-14 gets in.

Every team with as good or a worse record that didn't get in had similiar SOS.

I don't think there is a team that you could say got absolutely snubbed compared to OSU.

What is Michigan missing besides a deeper bench ? Maybe it is a guy like Abdur-Rahkman who could get to the basket and hit the three . Decent defender. Heck Mathews played subpar the whole Big Ten Tournament. He was a liability on offense also. Is it just poor offense execution? We know what MSU is doing and we still can’t score enough. I guess we had a better benchmlast year. Other then the Psu loss, and maybe the badger loss It is frustrating because our losses are coming down to a few key plays.

Unfortunately Iona won its Conference. Nothing you can do about that auto bid... I think Furman could deserve it over osu.
