Unfortunately Iona won its Conference. Nothing you can do about that auto bid... I think Furman could deserve it over osu.
Oof. They might be the last 'bubble team' I'd take over OSU.

so you think Lipscomb, Hofstra & Furman should be in? They all had 25 or more wins.
Iona got in with a 17-15 record.
I get it that everyone loves power conferences but when we reward just over .500 teams every year when little school?s can?t get the big schools to play them.
I get it that everyone loves power conferences but when we reward just over .500 teams every year when little school?s can?t get the big schools to play them.... this could all be solved by just adding 20-30 more teams. That would solve it. Although I guess with Conference tournaments they already get that. anyway screw teams around .500
lol...you want to add 20-30 more teams to a tournament that is already 1/2 full of mediocre & shitty teams?
Why not then you will shut up about shitty .500 bubble teams from power conferences. You will be happy as they will all get in, and I will get a few Furman’s in the dance every now and then , and we can have Round the clock basketball starting Tuesday instead of Thursday!
I was just responding to your assessment that OSU didn't deserve to get in but any team that has 25 wins should. If I had my way there would only be 32 teams. More basketball with shitty teams isn't better.
I'd rather watch Ohio State or Indiana play Duke than Iona or Furman.
In my opinion, the 2 seeds are better than the ones. Duke being top seed is bullshit. They got punked twice by NC and got lucky and beat them by one in the tourney final. It is what it is. Gonzage being 1 is quite ridiculous. No way they beat us or MSU.

Hope we start better verses Montana this year over last !
15:59 Montana 10-0.
11:06 Montana 17-10.
6:23 Montana 19-17.
Halftime Michigan 32-28.
It was weird
14:46 mark to 11:11 mark neither team scored.
Michigan 40-30.
Slowly but surely they pulled away for a
61-47 plodding type win.
Some games they have played.
Montana lost to Creighton 92-78.
Also beat Georgia St 81-74.
Lost to Uc Irvine 60-51.
Pretty dumb that Ionia got in. They need to do something about the conference tournament auto-bids. I know it usually works itself out, but being good for 3 months should count for something, rather than a team that is .500 and has a good conference tournament.
I don't think Zion is the best player on his team.
He can dunk, block shots, and get rebounds.
He is the best player on his team. Barrett may end up being a better pro, but Zion is the best college player on his college team. Being able to shoot 69% from the field, leading in rebounds, and blocks is an asset.
The only possible solution is to have the top 2 teams play for the spot. It's not that easy to say "have the tournament count for nothing," because with a lot of these conferences, the difference between the top 3-4 teams is minuscule. So those teams also have an argument and deserve a shot.
And the conference tournaments are a lot of fun, product a lot of drama, so the system is not going away.
I know people complain about the little guy getting a bid, but that is what makes this tournament the best in sports. The best teams 9 times out of 10 will shake out at the end. I don't need to see teams like Indiana get in. As a player in a big conference, all you need to do is not wet the bed and you will get into the tournament. For everyone else, it's darn near impossible outside of winning the conf. tournament.
lol say what ? Punked twice by NC . ok so missing the best player in the country means nothing , but then you say they got lucky beating NC with Zion back . Cmon man , i understand people hate Duke but this is ridiculous . You must not know much about the Zags , not only do they have Brandon Clarke , Rui Hachimura and Josh Perkins , they recently got back Killian Tillie from injury . They are stacked and the only team to beat a fully healthy Duke team .
If Michigan wins 6 games by 1 point, I'll be a happy man.
