I know right. I hate when people say second string like that. If that's the case, everyone is playing the Lions plays second string almost every week with Delmas, Spievey and Bentley out most of the year. Burleson and Corey Williams missed too and Backus only played 20 snaps, Florence played 43 snaps with a concussion and Coleman played about 15 snaps giving way to the great Don Carey last Sunday. Pack second string beat Lions second string.

Our offense had everyone out there (minus Nate but that shouldnt matter since Titus is fucking god) vs a decimated GB defense. Every single one of their playmakers were out. Woodson, Perry, Matthews out and Raji left the game....and we still couldnt score. Hey, if you feel that was a spirited, hard fought battle between a divisional foe....more power to ya. But your wrong...again. they sucked against a team full of 2nd stringers....its fact.

We scored 20 and left 8 in the redzone though with 4 good drives. Hayward and Tramon can play and our Oline still failed and Stafford had a very off game. I think our Oline failing was a big problem but they have done well most of the year. Unfortunate this was a game they failed. Should Detroit have score 30 or 40 like last time they missed Woodson and Matthews, maybe but 20 and holding Green Bay to 14 should win you a game. But the pick 6 happened. Green Bay had great field position all day, bad field position hurt Detroit several times.

That means they are not meeting or exceeding expectations. In the real world when that happens...people get fired and are held responsible. Yet we field a team that starts the likes of john frikken wendling and a punter that cant kick it over 37 yards. Mayhew blows. his drafts blow. And his team is on the verge of blowing for a number of years unless something changes.

CORRECT! youre finally comming around Tony lol. Yes....those are guys that a good team would dominate and score on more consistently than we did. Sure stafford sucked and linehan sucked.....but the execution sucked too. It was a very poorly played game when we couldnt afford anything less then our best effort.

I'm not arguing the fact that Stafford looked lost at times and Linehan is a joke. I'm just saying that these guys play in the NFL for a reason. Just because their names aren't Woodson or Matthews doesn't mean they can't make plays.

I turned it on after 4 expecting it to be over only to find it in overtime so watched the OT, I should have turned it back off. Not trying to prove anything, just sick and tired of this never ending hosrtsxit of a team we have here in Detroit and want it to Change!! The problem is I am a Lions fan, and no matter how hard I try I can't stop being a Lions fan and nothing good ever comes from it. They have completely destroyed my ability to be an optimist.
