Sick and Tired

News flash. We didn't get annihilated. Baby steps. We hung with them for 72 minutes.

Run another play? No you go on third down in case of a bad snap. It's football wouldn't expect you to understand but hey let's run it for a 2 yard loss or get sacked for an 8 yard loss brilliant idea.

From 25 sure, 47, hell no....your examples of what could happen is a prefect example of playing not to lose, you will lose in the NFL when you play not to lose. let's not try because something bad might happen, fuck that!!, that's why this franchise has sucked for 50+ fucking years! you can't make something good happen if you don't try!

he needs to just go away or die period.

one of the worst 'fans' i've ever seen.

Playing for something bad not to happen almost always seems to result in something really bad happening.

It was 3rd down, you run another play! You play not to lose in this league and you'll lose. Schwartz seems to have forgotten this.

Really, because Houston did the same thing.......and they won. Hanson missed a FG he hits 95 out of 100 times. It happens.

It sucks, but it happens.

He does it for the attention. Narcissistic behavior like that gets him the attention he needs. Why else would someone like him and Hughes go to a Lions board, pretend to be fans, then do nothing but verbally bash the team they're "fans" of. For the responses they get.

It's frustrating, and I get caught up in fighting back too.....but the best idea is to ignore these mental midgets and they would go somewhere else.

Twice, the first time they failed just like the Lions did, the second time it was from 32 and not 51, much closer and they didn't leave any downs on the board either! as the original article said they both played way too conservatively and who cares what Houston did. Houston gave the Lions yet another shot to take it from them because they weren't playing to win either, what did the Lions do? they said thanks but no you go ahead and win it.

you have 780 posts and not a single one of them has ever provided anything worth debating....and this is a message board. So now who is the mental midget? A message board is to speak your opinion and debate topics that are brought up...hence "new topic". You have 780 posts bashing other people and not one that actually talk about the topic at hand. Youre a fucking tool.

You do realize that a bad snap (i cant remember when we actually had a bad snap on a fg) would set us up for like a 53 yard game winning FG in that situation. So BEST case scenerio he played to win with a 47 yd fg which is dumb. Worst case is he was planning on kicking a 53 yd fg....even dumber. Stafford had like 9000 yards passing...im not sure i would have taken another down.....but i for sure wouldnt have been running the ball the first 2 downs just so i could kick a 47 yd game winner in a game like that where nothing was going right.

Your not a fan your a tool, stay on the tigers board.

Don't want him there either... Whines constantly about the team, says hes going to stop watching... Continues to watch and whine. I think he quit watching the Tigers about 12 separate times this past season.

You do realize Stafford was sacked not once but twice in the 4th Quarter by JJ Watt while in field goal range(Lions 36 both times) to move the Lions out of field goal range. Another time in the 4th Quarter Stafford threw incomplete on 3rd and 10 from the Texans 45, which would eliminate any help from a bad snap. Run could have been stuffed or even slightly negative play(2.7 YPC by LeShoure and a known running play), botched snap could happen(like Raiola in the Titan game), fumble like LeShoure in the Vikings/Bear game or Bell in the Bear game, throw short to Pettigrew(see fumble earlier in the game).

Schwartz went with his most reliable Muhlbach and Hanson combo with a nice safety net for a bad snap. The snap was low(rare by Muhlbach), Harris recovered and Hanson just missed.

Yes i do realize we were sacked a couple times which took us out of FG range throughout the game....which absolutely can not happen if youre stafford/linehan....get rid of the damn ball. But running twice for negative or no yards so you can attempt a GW 47 yd FG on 3rd down means you have absolutely no faith in your #1 pick QB that throws for 5000 yards. If your a QB with any competitive juices at all and your coach calls those 2 plays....i would think thats a slap in the face and demoralizing for a "high powered" offense.

LMFAO at saying they have no faith in Stafford. Stafford threw a big 3rd down to even get them in that position. They ran the ball once on 1st down, then they wanted to get it to the hash they wanted so they ran it again.
