Slay, Ansah, Levy negotiations open...Reiff on the fence

We didn't though, not in 2013. Is that why you say we have talent to win a SB so in 2028 you can say we did and you're right? The boy who cried wolf..read it, understand it, live it.

2014 proved I was right. I didn't cry wolf. I told you about the talent of this team and I was right. 2013 we had secondary injuries (Houston, Delmas, Quin, Mathis, Slay and Bentley) and coaching issues. The talent was still there and they showed signs of greatness. 2014 they stayed healthy in the secondary and had good coaching and I was proven right. It's a fact. This team is loaded with talent. Top 5 defense should be expected. We still have a great Dline and great back 7. We just changed DTs but Ngata is as much of a stud as Suh. Walker has very good potential, potential Fairley never lived up too. Plus a draft to come.

Ngata played like 30% of the snaps Walker less than that. Suh played 80%. That doesn't seem to figure into your equation. DT is still a must in round 1, but so is CB, but so is OT, but so is OG, but so is DE. The draft? We'd need multiple top 2 picks in a Mayhew draft to fill these holes.

Ngata did not play 30% of the snaps. Ngata played a ton of snaps. He'll be on the field 70-80% like Suh. Ngata missed 4 games due to suspension.

Walker had over 400 snaps. He can take a full time role. Reid in year 2. Plus a possible draft pick. Jones can play DT effectively too.

Lions have a good Dline still. Top 5 defense is coming again.

Quantify a ton and 400 snaps over 16 games as total percentages please.

Suh was 53 snaps per game. Ngata was 44. And Ngata can play more easily. Walker can play Fairley's share per game easily. Jones can slide inside and we have DE depth for that still. Reid in year 2 will play more.

Ngata played less than 50% of the Ravens Defensive snaps per game.

What are you basing this, he can play more easily on? Are you his dietitian?

Suh played 80%

It's 9 snaps per game difference. Ngata can easily do that in a 4-3 one gapping.

Clearly it's only 50% of total defensive snaps due to missing 4 games. I hope you are smart enough to realize that.

9 snaps? Ever thought Detroit had less overall snaps on D? It does make a difference.

It's probably some in the middle, Ngata on Detroit last year his snap % probably would be higher and on the Ravens, Suh's might be lower. But in 2015 I expect Ngata's snap % to not be close to what Suh had in 2014. At least a bit more than 9 snaps a game.

It will be 70% at least. Ngata can play 4-5 more snaps per game than he did last year. We also have Reid and Jones and a draft too for DT rotation. Walker can clearly play more snaps if he is starting. Fairley missed 9 games anyway and a lot of the Falcons game.

The 50% is total crap not factoring in the 4 games he missed. 50 snaps per game from Ngata can easily happen. He's a beast.

Missed four games because he was suspended. Another issue and he is gone for longer.

Suh regularly played at least 85% of the snaps . Ngata never has played more than 80. Ngata is a good replacement, but again, he is no Suh.

Ngata can play 70% easily like I said. He's a better run stopper than Suh, he'll get doubled (not Ansah or Walker or Jones) and he can rush the passer effectively. The Dline is still very good. Ansah will be a beast again in run and pass rush, Jones will be solid (more run defense) and Walker can do well. Walker can be a better pass rusher than Mosley (who played the last 9 games and is purely a run stopper). Jones can be an effective rushing DT too and Webster/Taylor/Tapp can step up filling in when Jones moves inside. Reid can be solid as a backup. Plus we have a draft if you really want one more DT or DE (move Jones inside more).

Our Dline is still very good, our LBs are good and our secondary is good. It's a top 5 defense with this coaching.
