Stafford in Focus

Where above did you mention CB, S and LB? I take it back you're not the best..no way the Lions get 40 sacks..teams will throw quick, like last year because there's always a guy open.

Who the hell do you think blitzes? A blitz is an extra rusher. The Dline pass rushes.

And we will press more and get development from our young DEs. 40 is easily possible. I'm being conservative with 40.

So it's not possible to blitz and the DE gets the sack?

Sure hope their sack totals go up. Basically at the bottom of the league.

Seattle was at the top, and never blitzed. Don't need to blitz to get sacks. Need improvement from the entire team. This D-line that they have invested so much into needs to prove itself, and not just get great "pressure" numbers.

Detroit was 7th in 4 man rush in 2013 with a two rookie DEs, one of them who was hurt and missing their other starting DE most of the year. The sacks are coming.

It is possible but those are accounted in the sack total for Des. The number of blitz sacks from non Dline will rise with more blitzes and more press and better blitz personnel. It's obvious.

The only thing that's obvious is that you're an idiot.

I know more than all of you combined. I give you only facts. If you are too stupid to interpret them, that's your problem.

Your assessment of this team is what sucks.

You called 11 wins in two years talented..and my assessment sucks? You said we played the toughest schedule in the toughest division..and my assessment sucks :lmao:

Yeah okay, lol.

LKP, why do you work so hard to defend the Lions? I assume that you've been a fan for awhile, have you been always this steadfast about defending them?

They got majorly injured. They are talented but had some turnover issues with coaching predictability.

They played much better than their record. Watch the damn tape. This team is loaded with talent. Double digit wins coming this season.

Millen years I did not defend them. It's clear this team is loaded with talent now and if they overcome the turnovers they can win double digit games every year. They need some damn health like 2011.

And there are several ways the Lions can win double digits
1) reduce turnovers by 10 (new coaching/less predicatability)
2) force 7-8 more turnovers
3) improve drop % and separation (new weapons pretty much a lock)
4) secondary health reduces big plays allowed
5) more than 10 good running days (health should do this too)

The reason why you're an idiot is no mention of Stafford ..

Reduce turnovers. He's in there.

Stafford can do everything else the same as last year. Plenty of yards, TDs, 3rd down conversion and great drives.

Weapon drops/separation helps his comp %.

So he can continue to choke in the fourth quarter?
