Stafford ranked as 11th most accurate passer

If they run the ball effectively, this will open up the deep ball. The entire O-line has to step up their game.

So the same ole "run the ball." They didn't run the ball a few years ago and Matt was better with the deeper ball. And this isn't really about how much he can throw deep but more when he throws deep, I don't think he's very good. I'm referring to 6 yards out of bounds, 10 yards over head.

Theyve run the ball effectively once in the last 10 years....what in the world makes you think they are going to run the ball effectively? Even if we do run the ball effectively, teams arent going to game plan for it or put 8 men in the box to stop it. Were just not that kinda team.

They ran effectively with cooter. Now upgraded tackle. Warford healthy. Laken year 2. Better depth. Plenty of reasons to think for better running.

Your reasoning is because lombardi, linehan, sims, peterman, raiola, cherilus, leshoure, bell, bush, waddle, lucas failed in the past that the 2016 lions cant run it. Is that correct?

This team ran well with reiff, laken, cooter, swanson, warford and ola

Dead horse, and Cooter might be a good OC, but based on just a half a season against weak defensive teams lets see if they win a playoff game.

The dead horse is saying liins cant run because of past seasons. They ran well under cooter overall. We play those same weak defenses in 2016 for most part. Add in titans, colts, giatns ,skins and cowboys too. Much weaker 2016 schedule

It doesn't matter. They just need to win playoff games. Is the team good enough to win a playoff game? And honestly they need to finish no worse than 2nd if they want a shot. Not easy..

And besides gurley and peterson. Not many rushers to worry about. Maybe murray with titans and cowboys due to oline. Colts no, bears no, packers no, skins no, eagles no, saints no, jags meh with no line, giants no, texans maybe with miller

I think they probably finish 3rd behind GB and MN. I doubt 3 teams come out of this division.

Lions are good enough for first or second in division

Maybe. But I see Minny improved from last season. As far as GB, I don't know. Regardless we still need playoff wins. And regardless if they good enough they need to do it. Which they haven't.

No they're not. No proof of that. This team has not proven anything other than losing. Vikings and Packers made the playoffs, we didn't. I would be surprised if we win 8, realistically 7.
