The same old year 2 must be better theory.. It doesn't work that way.
Robinson can play the same and we'll have a top 10 defense. I said more than just year 2 Robinson.

Get StartedThe same old year 2 must be better theory.. It doesn't work that way.
Ansah healthy is like adding a top 5 pick, Bryant healthy, Washington added, Hyder was solid
Robinson year 2, Hill added, Spence added
Did you even pay attention in the offseason
Nickel and LBs were the problems. They were fixed big time
Slay, Lawson, Quin, Wilson, Killebrew all did good to solid. Secondary was in very good shape with a tweak with Tabor/Agnew/Hayden for depth and competition
THIS IS NOT THE SAME DEFENSE FROM LAST YEAR. Improved in every spot (not just two rookies)
Ansah is like a new DE, Davis a new Mike, Whitehead a new Will
The weaknesses were fixed and the strengths were made stronger. Plus 13th in PPG last year.
Nickel wasn't fixed. They added rookies bro. Rookie dbs suck. Linebacker was fixed in one fucking spot. Granted it was one more linebacker we had before. Defensive line is literally the same lineup that went out there and did nothing. (I understand ziggy was hurt and it will be slightly better but not that much better.) Spence and Washington are rotational garbage. Literally not starter capable players. Doesn't make your team better.
Tied for 23rd in interceptions. Dead last in comp %. Dead last in qb rating against. 2nd to last in sacks. But don't worry guys! We have like two different starters from last year! The rotational players are here to fix it all!
Diggs back healthy and Hayden added. Nickel was fixed
LB was fixed in two spots. Davis and Whitehead is good on outside (see 2015)
Dline is not literally the same lineup. HEALTHY ANSAH. LIKE DRAFTING A STUD AGAIN. Hyder was good. Washington was added and will play significant snaps. Washginton is far from rotational garbage. 4th best pass rush productivity for all interior defenders in 2016. Spence and Hill added and they are big upgrades over Charles and Walker. Robinson in year 2. Ngata is still a solid player. This is a very good Dline
The pass rush will be good, the secondary is very good and the LBs are solid but young. This team will be top 12 in QB rating and should increase to 16-20 ints.
This is a top 10 defense. You under estimate Ngata, Robinson, Hyder, Ansah, Washington big time.
Diggs back healthy....he sucked when he was healthy. Hayden. The only time he was relevant was when he had a life threatening illness.
LB. Move whitehead....so were excited about someone getting demoted. Yay. Davis is an upgrade...we hope. Still no one worth a shit opposite whitehead.
Dline blows. Again were hoping ansah is productive now that hes healthy. Theres very little opposite him. Depth at DT seems to be improved.
Safeties are the same...with less depth than last year.
We better hope the offense gets it heads out of their asses this year or wont be in position to make the lucky 4th qtr comebacks we did last year.
Brian Hoyer, Glennon, Stafford - still no playoff wins. At least with Hoyer and Glennon we will have some top 5 picks and really build the defense up.
The same old year 2 must be better theory.. It doesn't work that way.
Don't worry about the offense bro, we only have an injury prone starter with no one who can tote the rock behind him. We'll be fine.

How we're the 4th quarter comebacks luck? Were the opponents tripping over air or were there earthquakes that only affected the defense during key plays??
While having to win games late in the fourth quarter is not the preferred method… It is far from luck.
13 one score games. Like 8 4th quarter come backs? Numerous late 4th quarter clock management fuck ups by the other team. Last minute defensive heroics from a team that doesn't cause turnovers. You can call it whatever you'd like.... it was luck.
No, it wasn't. It's just your way of justifying it. It's easier for you to say it's luck so you can keep up your "everyone sucks" schtick.
Slay made plays. Stafford made plays. Riddick made plays. Nobody gave them anything.

Blah blah blah blah...
None of our wins were luck. They were all earned. About 3 losses were bad luck though (refs and extreme injuries to most important players)
Blah blah blah blah
Statement like this is why you lack credibility.
I proved it. Re-read my entire post. Don't just pick little tidbits. I am very credible.
Keep posting and proving my case.
You lost your case
Lions were only trailing 35 of 480 minutes
The refs and injuries clearly impacted several Lions losses. There were no ref benefit calls in the Lions favor last year and the Lions were the more injured team than all of their opponents
