Stupid Lions supposedly want Gase

If season ended today, Wilson is MVP. He has single handedly pushed their SB momentum into a reality. Wilson just may be the best QB in football.

But damnit does Stafford have him beat in arm strength. And really, isn't that really all that matters in a QB. I think so.
 
Wilson is good but he's not an MVP Candidate at this point. I think several guys could win it. Cam and Brady to name a couple. Throw in Palmer. I think Cam is last in that bunch but can't disregard at 13-0.
 
How about Cam Newton? You want to talk about someone that doesn't have dick for weapons and still makes it go. Outside of Greg Olsen and Jonathan Stewart, he's got no one.

Who does Eli have other than OBJ? How about Tyrod Taylor? Rivers? Debate all you want about Wilson, but he's got NO one to throw to, and an equally shitty offensive line to Detroit.

You can try, and try, and try to defend Stafford. He doesn't make anyone better, period. And until you get that figured out, maybe you'll understand why some of us don't bow at his feet and pile on the excuses when he continues to fail and let this franchise down.

Eli has Vereen, Randle and a group of good young TEs. Taylor has Watkins, Clay is decent. A great running game in McCoy and Williams (when healthy). Rivers only has a HOF TE in Gates, Allen is a beast, 1st rd RB. So stfu about how these guys have nothing. Do more research and come back to me.
Wtf has Stafford had besides CJ? He's doing good things with Tate.....put up decent numbers with Burleson. NEVER had a running game. Maybe one year with Bush lol. So give me a fucking break on the sob stories how other QBs have shit but make people better. It's a joke

Rivers has a 1st rd RB..who has done what? He had both Allen and Gates in what 2 maybe 3 games this year?

I agree. Those two are playing great with relatively no weapons in the passing game when compared to other QBs. Hell, the Lions took Wilson's #1 WR prior to last season and now he is Stafford's #2

There are plenty of teams out there that work with much less than what Matty Ice has. And they make it work. Our guy doesn't. Lions are burning first round picks on luxury TEs to give him more stuff to work with, and he still can't make anyone better.
 
Well if weapons matter, or lack of weapons, that much - might as well give the MVP to Mariota. Team around him is horseshit.

What a wild concept. I thought QBs take forever to develop? Guess it's a lot tougher for those poor TEs.
