suh suspended

Exactly how is someone in a football stadium with tens of thousands of screaming fans suppose to know that someone is lying on the ground directly behind them? I couldn't tell you how many times I've been in just a grocery store and have someone come up behind me and I not realize it and accidentally step back into them.

if you are backing up and step on something do you take your other foot, place it on the object then lift your other leg up so you can put all of your weight on that object before moving along or do you try NOT to step on that thing again? He is a dirty POS and that 2nd step (putting all of his weight on the leg) was 100% intentional.

The main point of his Job is to know where the QB is.

I never said that Suh didn't intentionally shift his weight to the part of his foot that was on Rodgers leg, it certainly looks that way, but I'm not in his head I don't know. My point was its impossible for Suh to know Rodgers was back there. I don't believe he started back up knowing that he was eventually going to step on Rodgers.

During the play, I agree. However, the play was over. Suh is not expected to hold Rodgers hand in every single facet of the game. If that was the cause Suh should go hold his weeny for him when Rodgers goes to take a piss.

Adam, even if he had zero idea he was back there (which is hard to believe), after you step on the guy, do SOMETHING to acknowlege it. Help him up, say my fault, whatever. Address the media immediately after the game and say I didn't mean to, it was an accident. That would have gone a long way.

But instead, he did what Suh did best: ignored the media.

Guy is just troubled, once he's gone we'll hear all sorts of shit from Lions teammates I'm sure.

let's break it down frame by frame...

first, we see Rodgers bumping into Suh while TJ Lang is grabbing Suh's jersey pulling his upper body down
suh-1.JPG

Lang is still holding Suh's jersey while Suh is moving backwards with Rodgers ankle already underneath Suh's right foot
suh-2.JPG

Lang finally lets go of Suh, who is still moving backwards, with Rodgers ankle underneath him. you can clearly see that Suh is off balance because of unnatural shift in weight (Suh is trying to move back to get Lang to let go of his jersey while Rodgers ankle is not allowing a stable platform to hold Suh's balance). what we can't see here (but clearly can from other angles https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos_h2...p4?versionId=iqfrB3ZnBtk6wZb8x2ZZT1SAdZX4uVJu and https://mtc.cdn.vine.co/r/videos_h2...p4?versionId=qr3Y6mY4ogAYcqK.x7tRe72BGZKY4eoH) is that Rodgers moves his leg even further backwards out from under Suh's right foot while Suh is trying to maintain balance).

because Rodgers moved his leg backwards while Suh was still off balance, Suh's left foot steps on Rodgers ankle

simple physics tells us that while moving backwards, you must put all your weight onto your back foot/leg in order to push off and change direction, which, unfortunately, happens to be on top of the NFL poster boys, i mean Rodgers vagina, i mean ankle.

no where in there does he look down, or back to know who it is, or what it is as the play was happening down field. as it's been said multiple times already, everything looks bad in slow motion. i definitely don't see intent on any live action replays though. it's a bang bang play that could have happened to anybody. just because it's Suh, the play is being overly scrutinized. If Rodgers wasn't such a puss, he might not have fallen down in the first place and this isn't even an issue.

Hopefully lucke can represent Suh at his appeal hearing. Nice job.
i wish i could. Raiola clearly jumped only Fergusons leg while looking directly at it, and should have been suspended. this was NOTHING like that

You can break it down frame by frame, show it in slow motion, whatever you want. I believe Suh knew what he was doing, not only based off his history, but based off the fact that he showed no remorse or concern whatsoever after Rodgers slapped him on his ass trying to shove him away. If it truly was an accident, I believe a person would have at least acknowledged Rodgers, turned around, or tried to say "my bad" or something. The lack of anything like this tells me Suh was trying to get away with something. He's tried to be sneaky before with the Matt Schaub groin kick, and I think he took advantage of an opportunity that presented itself.

Do I know for sure? No of course not, only Suh does. Unfortunately we're at the point where I can't give him the benefit of the doubt on stuff like this.

Because after the 2nd step he put his full pressure on the QB. Don't tell me he didn't realize he was stepping on someone.

Forgot one part lucke in which a still won't show and that's when he puts more pressure on the 2nd step. Btw, him not looking back makes him more guilty. You step on someone and see if you'd notice, twice.

You had me until the 2nd step. I think he knew Rodgers was there when he accidentally stepped on him the first time. Step #2 was intentional and pretty dirty, IMO. I don't know why everyone is shocked by this. This is who he is.

way to spin it...the only flaw in your "homer" explanation is he never looks off balance. Suh is a P.O.S. End of story!

Suspend him. And don't resign his money grubbing ass after that. Fuck him. Highest paid desires after 65 million and he pullsthatbullshit. Fuck him

no spin on it and not a "homer" explanation at all. just because he's not flailing his arms all over, like you probably would in that situation, doesn't mean he's not off balance. it really comes down to simple physics that you, or anybody, could replicate exactly, if you cared to.

have somebody pull your shirt collar towards them and down slightly, while you're backing up. then have them let go and what happens to you? you start to fall backwards, bracing yourself with your back foot/leg before pushing off said leg to move forward again. you can't fake the laws of physics.

You also can't fake the physics of not noticing after you step on a guy..

Just did it. I put a 2x4 on the ground and had my son hold my shirt. I went back a bit...put very little pressure on the 2x4 and never even put my 2nd leg on the 2x4. Did it again and tried to put my 2nd leg on the 2x4 but didn't have to pick my "off leg" up in the air to regain my balance. I am not an athlete so my balance is not as good as Suh. Did it 10 times and not once did I have to step back with my 2nd foot. Then I did it several times where I placed my 2nd foot on the board on purpose and I didn't need to pick up my "off foot" to walk away.

Experiment over...Suh is a dirty player.
