The 2021 NFL Draft

Yeah, not taking Cox after trading up only for Dallas to take Cox with the very next pick feels like a SOL draft moment.

It literally changes my overall draft grade from potential A- to a B. They obviously did not like something about Cox, but it will be interesting to see if they made the correct choice.

Obviously scheme is a major factor, but this feels like a missed opportunity.

I is the answer. Incomplete. Too hard to know, though I don't know enough about college players to know who was/is better.

People complain we couldn?t pressure the QB and now that?s been addressed. Now folks are complaining about the coverage.

There was no chance we were going to be able to address every need this year, especially only having 5 picks.

Getting 2 large DTs doesnt fix the pass rush at all. The over under on their combined sack total is 2.

I?m ok w that. Last time we tried to go speed, we couldn?t tackle and went 0-16....

Really...so because Millen is an idiot you now dislike speed on D? That seems extremely short sighted. How well the pass D improves is incredibly important and Cox having by all accounts great pass coverage skills is a missed opportunity considering how much the Lions SUCK in LB pass coverage.

Cox is little. We need grown ass men playing that LB spot, not a track star who can?t shed blocks. The Cowboys drafted a princess while we drafted a hard hitting football player!

Lions added pass rushing dts that can one gap..that improved pass rush greatly. Solid lb and slot wr. Stud offensive tackle and a nice big db that is athletic..now coach em up

If you can't stay with the opposing WR speed for speed hit them where it hurts.

You say that every year... same shitty pass rush.

That guy that got all that money from the Rams who stunk on his previous team? Then played next to Aaron Donald and succeeded. Maybe we have a mini AD and the DE will get more pressures.

That's true if flowers was seeing double teams before.... hate to break it to you...he wasn't.

No matter how we look at it. We?re getting some footballs to fit a much needed new defensive scheme.

Agreed we needed a DT... agreed levi was a good pick. It made no sense to pick a back up dt in McNeil before filling some of your starter holes. Completely neglecting need isn't always a good strategy.

Brockers can play de and dt, levi 3 tech, mcneil is a nose that can pass rush. They are all needs especially long term needs with Hand and Nick Williams in contract years

St brown great value... I've watched him since he was at matre dei. reminds me of Cooper kupp.
