At this time, Stafford has shown flashes of brilliance and flashes of incompetence. If this were a court case, the jury would be out deliberating for a long long time.

I can't be any more in favor of propping him up than I can be of tearing him down.

I've been defending patience in the thread, and many confuse that blindly for defending Stafford. But you have not heard me say he was "outstanding".
