The pick is getting ripped a few places I read this morning.
Doesn't have the same speed as Davis. Davis ran 4.38.
And ripped off 33 reps. Davis was a true freak.
Seems like a mixed bag of reviews. Our ESPN reporter gave it a thumbs down as well if you want to add to the review mix. I have no doubt the guy can do well, if that makes it a good pick count me on the positive side. I think we could get the same production out of a TE in the second or later. One final thing you guys are calling this a BPA pick, but it's being touted and is a need pick, if the coaches though we needed an athletic TE it's a need. Paying Pettidrop is a waste, you don't need to pay a blocker 4 mil per.
this...I loved the idea of ebron...but then our dumbass gm resigned Pettigrew and I thought there was no way in hell hed be that dumb to get ebron at 10 after that.
Any word on how we are going to use him. Is he going to be a TE in the sense jimmy Graham is? Meaning lining up as a WR 2 out of 3 times.
Next three picks I would use on defense. After that draft based on a combo of value and need.

GB just has to put haha on him and ebron will be invisible. Great pick packers...
If we hit on our next few picks, this becomes a non-issue. Kind of annoyed reporters keep saying the lions took a few minutes to turn in their card and somehow they listened to trade offers in that time. Sorry, the video shows it was less than 20 seconds.
What video was that?
I was stuck watching the ESPN feed. The vikings pick was in, that's when the lions clock starts, they went to commercial, they came back and announced the vikings pick, then about 15 seconds after that the pick was in. So they were on the clock the entire commercial break and while the commish was announcing the pick. To me it looked like they were on the clock for about five minutes.
