You mean IF Dylan had broken his collar game 3 games into the season last year?
Michigan would've probably went 5-7 or something and that would've seriously hurt recruiting.
Or
Do you mean IF Dylan had miraculously stayed healthy all season even though he got hurt in his mop-up duty last season? Dude was seriously underweight last season. He would not have held up, then Milton would've been getting the experience.
I'd rather not watch Michigan lose. Losing more is never good.
My guess is that Michigan would still be 2-0 at this point this season. I don't know, though, because I haven't seen Dylan pass the ball. Patterson's passing hasn't been great, but he has completed enough passes to make Michigan 2-0.
Michigan still held their own in recruiting, even when they had abysmal years under Hoke and RR. That's never been the issue with this team.
Yeah I'm not sure about the weight thing. Right now, he's 3 inches taller than Patterson and 20 lbs heavier. So assuming he added 20 lbs of muscle in the off-season, he was still probably around the same dimensions as Patterson last year. There are plenty of skinny kids in football. Maybe he gets hurt, maybe not.
I just don't care for not developing and trusting the own guys you have. Patterson and/or Milton are guys that are going to be (hopefully) your starters down the road. This just delays the process.
