The Official Army vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

I can't believe I would ever say something like this.

I'd be OK with Harbaugh telling Gattis he's taking over. I'd rather watch that boring power shit compared to this.

me too. I actually prefer it.

When a spread-style like this is actually run correctly, it's awesome. When it's not, it looks like this.

If I would have known this is what the O was going to become, I'd be totally fine with the traditional stuff.

Whats frustrating is the growing pains for the offense and just overall sloppy play that results from missing or not knowing assignments. This team will get better but we gave ourselves no easy games. Mtsu is a good team and army has consistently been a tough game under this current regime. We cant afford to continue go be sloppy and the playcalling has gotta get better. The dline needs to get better at the tackle position but this team will be fine. Just gotta get back to work. Also...they need to bring back some under center stuff. This short yardage play calling is abysmal.

Definitely one of the hardest schedules in the nation

Yes he does. He's got one of the 5 most talented rosters in the country and he hasn't had a team finish better than 10th in the rankings. He's 0-4 against OSU. He hasn't gotten to a big ten championship game or a playoff yet. I don't know what your point is but I would like to think that the expectations are a little higher than recruit win 10 games (none of them being OSU) and we're good.

My point is obvious

He said meaningless bowl game results would affect recruiting

My answer is that it did not

Just got done watching the game and I am thoroughly disgusted by this offense. Charbonnet took what he was given. Some of the plays should never have been called, like running the same play over and over and over again and also the shit blocking. Blocking was absolutely awful in the run game. The TEs are completely inept when it comes to who they are supposed to block and Onwenu is a big pussy. Shea can't fucking hang on to a fucking ball and he hands the ball off when he should take it. The DE for Army was crashing down most of the game because he knew Charbonnet was taking it 99 percent of the time. Gattis' play calling on 3rd and 4th down is just unforgivable. What in thee fuck are you thinking? And Fuck You Harbaugh for even going for it on some of those 4th downs. You had no business saying "yes" to the play calls. And way to hold all 3 TOs for the last seconds of the game. Bravo fuck face!! Let's call a TO to just run the same play up the middle. As for the defense, we had to take Ben Mason out in the 2nd half because he's TOO FUCKING SMALL JACKASSES!! Don Brown finally had the sense to just stick Hutchinson in the middle. So basically we had 4 DEs on the field at one time. No Jeter and no Dwumfor. Wisconsin is going to absolutely smoke us in Madison. This team just isn't good. Veteran team playing like a bunch of Rich Rods. I am positive I am missing something but I'm just too pissed..........rant over.

Wisconsin runs a different offense

We can just hope for some improvement

Or

Give up now

They have the best RB in the country and we are weak at DT. Going to be tough as hell to win.

I never said otherwise

But

Michigan is not CMU and neither is Army. Michigan did not lose to Wisconsin today or anyone else.

All Michigan has to do is run that handoff to Charbonet 10,000 times and it will be perfect. That 10,000th play will happen sometime in 2028.

Hmmmm....I dunno. At some point, it seemed to me, that Army figured out that Michigan was probably going to hand the ball to Charbonet.

Yes, but it won't matter because the play will be perfect someday. "Fear the offense that has practiced one play 10,000 times." Bruce Lee said that.

I still hate Metellus for dropping that fucking pic. It'd be a lot easier to deal with a shitty performance if it wasn't for the fact that I have no hope that this team will beat OSU.

That game is like 3 months away. If that is your only focus, then you should stop watching.

It IS my only concern. I know that Michigan can beat every other B1G team most of the time. But I don't give a fuck about 10 wins, I want this team to win a national championship. They're not going to do that until they win a conference title. They're not going to win a conference title until they win their division. They're not going to win their division until they beat OSU.

They're not going to beat OSU until hell freezes over though so you're right about me wasting my time.

Find a new hobby then

I think it's possible that Michigan improves over the next 2.5 months
