The Official Army vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

that score was 28-24.

we could?ve won 28-21 if Patterson hit #4 open in the end zone in the second OT

Wasn't referring to the Army games. Michigan can't figure out how to win vs OSU. So unless they do, no B1G championship games and no playoff games.

Yet the announcers were comparing this game to that game all day long. But I guess you?re just smarter than the high paid professional announcers.

This reminds of the ones who keep insisting Stafford is a good QB. Just more excuses.

Yeah well, they can?t beat OSU on the day they?re playing Army.

Today?s outcome will have nothing, ultimately, with the OSU Game and the B1G Championship game.

Just because Michigan has never won the relatively recently started big 10 championship game doesn?t mean they never well. The results of previous seasons have nothing to do with what?s going to happen this season or any season going forward.

Oklahoma gave up 339 yards on teh ground to Army... they had 200 on us.

we lost three fumbles; UO only had one turnover.

we had a more impressive win.

still ugly... Harbaugh should make Patterson walk around campus holding the ball all week.

True, but it's Michigan. We're suppose to get to the championship game, a lot. We're also suppose to win bowl games but that's a lost art also around here.

They haven't won the conference in 15 years.

Imo, I believe Army to be a pretty good team. But Michigan did not play well.

Army did the same thing to Oklahoma last year, lets not overreact to things. Michigan actually held Army to one of it's lowest total yards numbers in recent memory.

My bigger concern is how bad the offense is for short yardage situations. Why the hell are we in the shotgun on 3rd and 4th down short yardage? I get it we have a new offense, but you're trying to tell me that we can't keep a couple short yardage plays with the QB taking the snap under center.

Bo actually used to do that you know, right?

amen, new guy.

if you?re going to pound it on the ground, scrap the shotgun/spread formations. just line up and bring it

Honestly, the O-line did really well today. Shea had a TON of time to throw the majority of the game.

I tried with this dude. He just sucks. I know Gattis deserves some of the blame, but it's 90 percent on Patterson.

Yeah well, this is my 50th year of following Michigan football, and in the first 35 years, I saw a number of crappy Michigan starts where Michigan ended up winning the B1G championship.

I?m not going to scrap hope for this season just cause the last 15 have been disappointing and the start hasn?t been so hot.

Next game in two weeks is it?s own game.

Yeah but most of those years there was basically 2 teams competing. So you beat OSU you basically win title. But we can't beat OSU anymore.

Bowl games don't matter...until you lose with several players sitting out...
