I think Trufant has the makings of a nice #2 corner in this league. I'm genuinely interested in a couple scenarios and your guys opinions. First is if they get Houston back. Second is without Houston but somebody from a lower tier in Free Agency. Which way would you guys rather go in the draft?

Ansah/Werner in round one and Trufant in round two?

Milliner in round one and best available DE to fall to us in two that fits the system?

Milliner/hunt would be a solid draft for our defense. I have a feeling mayhew would go lt before de at the top of this draft. If i had to choose 1 de right now itd be ansah though. Trade down to 8ish would still be the best option and have a choice between vaccaro, ansah or warmack.

Of the two, Milliner first round. I might not even take a DE until the 3rd round, there's a lot of talent there. Depending on how free agency shakes out, I wouldn't mind going CB, Safety (Elam), then DE (Hunt, Okafor, Gholston).

A CB we're are going to look long and hard at in the draft its Robert Alford. IF he makes it to the 3rd round, I'll give it a 50% chance he's our pick regardless if we have drafted a cb prior.

But this guy Alford is from a small school in Louisiana.

4.3 seventeen rep bench. Owned the Senior Bowl. There is a lot to get excited about. The DB crop is deep this year, if Bentley came out this year he wouldn't get drafted before the 5th. Corey Greenwood and Jonte Green? This year? LOL

And who are these people? The point being, the most useless stat at an NFL combine is the 40. Watch tape, that's what matters.
