The defense looks to be about the same as last year. Good enough to beat up on weak teams, but prone to give up the big play, especially on 3rd down. Offense looks a little better than last year. At least they scored a TD. They will probably finish about the same as last year.

The hardest part of a UM defeat (other than the obvious) is avoiding all media outlets for at least the next week. I just put Inside Michigan Football back on the DVR, but I'm already wondering how many recordings I'm going to have to delete without watching this season.

Im not the only one who noticed Jon Runyan Jr. singlehandedly killing our offense. Mgoblow is on fire. There are some guys over there that watched him all night and saw shit I didnt even see. He has none, absolutely none of his father's abilities as an offensive lineman. Patterson will not make it through the year with him there. He gave Patterson no time at all. As a whole, the oline still cannot pick up stunts. But when one person is that bad, he makes everyone else look 10x worse.

The defense is fucking shit and so overrated it is not funny . I could care less about stats except one. Hold teams under 10 points please if you are this so called great defense ?

All wins .

Jim’s second season the defense held teams under ten five times and twice right at 10.
All wins.

Last season. We had zero games for the defense under 10 points allowed .
We had three games right at 10 .. all wins.


We have to stop letting teams score period ! Bend but don’t break. Fg instead of td’s.
I know you all get it but this defense could have won this game easily for us tonight if they were great like advertised..

Now this is no excuse on Jim’s putrid offense but if he Doesn’t figure the shit out soon his Tenure at Michigan’s only last a few more years

Both. If you know a couple guys are handicapping your offense, you have to have a back up plan instead of calling the same plays over and over again hoping for different results. Play to your strengths. Where the fuck were our fullbacks? Fullbacks have a tendency to be able to block well. Our tailbacks are too small and they cant give the qb enough time when someone on the oline blows their block.


This team was not prepared.
