The Official OSU vs ][V][ichigan Game Thread

You can't put this on the offense, the defense gave this away, that and that bs fumble they called on DG

after watching the 2 point highlight 10 times my thoughts are:

borges is an idiot
Devin's only chance was to run

A chance to win the game and you give your qb no options...wtf...

Why should he shut up? Should we all be jumping around be happy, because Michigan didn't get blown out? Should we be happy that Michigan gave up 42 points and looked clueless on defense all day? I guess we should just take the moral victory and go home.

That's my thoughts. A roll out with devin moving would of made me happier.

and knowing that Borges is an idiot, that's why I don't like the decision to go for 2

if you do, at least run some crazy ass play. Nope, just a regular standard play without even an option to run...stupid

In Hoke's 3 games against OSU, he won the one he should have, lost one on the road to a higher ranked team despite a halftime lead (which Borges ****ed up, btw) and today was one play away from beating a superior team.

Hoke is getting the types of players to UM who can and will beat OSU and continue to compete with them (outside the RR years, 2007 and 2000 were the only games in the last 15 years where UM lost by more than 1 possession. Hoke is doing his best work against OSU.

Hoke blew a TO in the 3rd quarter by not knowing whether or not he was going for it on 4th down. But you can always find a coaching gaffe. It's impossible to call a perfect game in the eyes of all fans.

Hoke has addressed UM's positions of weakness not necessarily with guys that recruiting websites think are good, but with guys who have offers from the top programs UM wishes to be.

In my eyes, Hoke today endeared himself to the fan base and to those kids (players, and recruits). That doesn't mean he was perfect though. But he's getting the players who if developed properly will win despite coaches not being perfect.

Did today do enough to save Funk and Borges? I don't know.

Mattison is not untouchable.

They gave up a game-ending TD drive at home against Nebraska where Nebraska scored on a ****ing option. The option used to never work against Michigan. Those days have changed.

Then the Mattison D gives up 17 points and a bunch of yards in the 2nd half against Iowa. Yes, they were out on the field all day, but we're just asking for 1 stop. Nope

Then today, totally clueless on D against OSU. Yes, they're good, but they didn't even do that against the mighty Northwestern D.

Not just no options, but no eligible receiver on the left side of the field.

You made sure the defense only had to cover 1/2 the field, and they did.

He endeared himself to the fanbase by losing to OSU at home. If that's true, then they're blind.

No I don't like 7-5... But I hate your ****ing whining more than 7-5...

Agreed.

I don't like 7-5. I don't like losing today.

I also don't like idiots who don't know what they're talking about.

The defense sucked today because the DL got its ass whooped by the OSU OL. Nothing schematically was going to compensate for an OSU interior OL manhandling Washington, (again, did he play today?!) Black, and Heitzman. Hyde averaged almost 9 per carry today. And it's not b/c LBs missed tackles on him. The DL provided very little resistance and OSU ran at will up the middle.
