I have to give the back up SMU QB a lot of credit. He made some great throws into tight coverage. The offense struggled at first because they seemed determined to run on 1st and 2nd down then throw on 3rd. Once they opened up the offense with play action and using Shea's ability to get outside the pocket they really started looking a lot better.
