The Official "The Ga][V][e" Ga][V][e Thread

Come on KC, that's not even serious. He came at me first. All I did was respond, but whatever I'll stay off the board until the open woulds to his vag heal.

Gotime, in a game with so much riding on it, many on the UM board will not be in a good mood.
No matter who said what to whom to precipitate doesn't matter so much to me.
It is more of not saying 'anything' about someone's wife, GF, or kids. That is all I am trying to diffuse. ok? Thanks.

They were talking about Harbaugh on ESPN during the PSU MSU halftime. I had stepped away from the TV and didn't catch it all; something about maybe he would have to pay a fine or something.

Anyway, Harbaugh said what we had all been saying here.

Harbaugh is hardly the first coach to bitch about officiating at a presser.

Speight and harbaugh gave up the lead. Refs handed them the win. Should have never been in that positon. Up 10 with a little more than quarter left and they went into full out self destruct mode.

Gotcha, fair enough.

Well Barrett was 6 inches short at least but then I wear glasses. It shocked me that the refs only looked at it for under 2 minutes. He never reached the ball out at all and was crushed short. I am pretty positive any other other fan base would be a tad or irked that only 2 flags were called today. No holding, no pass interference ( perry was mugged). Jim has a right be pissed. It was a joke. That said jim's play calling was not very good. Very subpar if you ask me. Had ball twice up
17-14 even after all those mistakes and non calls.. should have put it away and take it out bias refs hands...

Yeah he's been pathetic all year. His "respectful" comments are usually anything but...kind of like calling peppers mr. heisman during the game. He's nothing but a troll who loves nothing more than UM losing. Must be a shitty life

Lmao at penn st throwing a deep ball at this point in the game. Seems Mike dantoni made an enemy in franklin

That call drove me nuts, as did the defense allowing Samuels to juke all over the place and make that ridiculous run to get near the first down marker when he should've been dropped ten miles behind the LoS. Those two plays sickened me, as did Michigan's anemic offense in the second half.

I don't know if Michigan scores on that first drive or not, I don't know if OSU converts on their next play. What I do know is that the no call stalled a drive and the inference call on Hill changed the game and the interference the ball was 10' above the receiver's head. There's plenty of blame on Michigan, but the officiating was terrible this game and it at least helped OSU.

Even the most ridiculous buckeye fan can't say the refs and bad calls didn't play a huge part in that game. That said, UM played a pretty poor second half and seemed to play not to lose

It seems that this team has not played a full 60 minute game since before the MSU game. Maybe they just got too used to rolling teams and somehow got the idea that they could coast in the 2nd half. Offense looked pretty pathetic in the second half and seemed to go into coast mode after going up 17-10. Seemed like there was no identity to the. Oline was starting to dominate at the end of the 1st half, what happened to that?

The play calling changed in the second half. From what I could tell it appeared that UM went to plays that took a little bit longer to develop, in hopes of getting a big play. I was on with that for a while, but it didn't work and they failed to switch back to quick hitting short to mid yardage plays until overtime. That was the biggest difference to me in the 2 halves.

UM gave that game away, they had chances to seal the win and didnt.

I'm pissed about the officiating of the game. It was extremely poor and 1 sided. I cannot say for sure that the PI on Hill was legit or not, it's hard to say from the angle on my couch. However the no call on Perry is a legit no call that they missed.

Now UM committed the cardinal sin of sports teams, and allowed the refs to play a factor and it will hurt for sometime.

I didn't think while watching the game live that OSU got the 1st. I've seen the replay several times and it does show that there was a blocker with his huge lineman ass behind the first down line and Barrett bounces right off his ass. Barretts arm not carrying the ball crosses the marker, but the ball does not. From what I've seen it was not even close. (correct me with a link of evidence if I am wrong, if not piss off)

All the complaining and whining won't change it, and every OSU fan that I know, which is damn near everyone in my circle all shut up quickly when I say it wasn't a first down. They won't admit it, and I wouldn't either if it was my team, but that should have ended the game.

It didn't and it sucks. But in the end, we have Harbaugh as a coach and he is in my mind one of the best in the business, I'm sure several NFL GM's and probably 60+ college AD's would agree with me. He will have a winning record over OSU, and Urbiehandcock if he stays around, and I highly doubt he's going anywhere.

This team will be back next year, the years of rebuilding are over, and they will reload. Ups and downs will come, but the highs will be higher and lows not as low.

Who's got it better than us?

I'm already speculating on how much of a drop-off (if any) there will be next year since we're losing so many guys. I'm hoping that the younger guys have gotten enough playing time that their production will be good going into next year. I also wonder how many of the incoming 2017 class will see playing time next season.

Now that I'm drunk...FUCK. UM gave that game away with stupid penalties and stupid play calling in the second half. If um plays well that game is never in doubt...FUCK

Quite curious what the coach from osu said to peppers when he grabbed him by the arm after the game. Just saw the clip on Facebook and whatever he said pissed peppers off enough to shove him.

Might want to relook that up. Coach grabbed him after Peppers assaulted a fan.
