Four things killed the D today: 1) They found the weak DB and exploited him in coverage the entire game. 2) The Michigan D can't cover the slant across the middle of the field. 3) No pressure on Haskins. He had all day to find and hit his receivers. 4) The Michigan D can't handle the hurry up offense.

Exploit these weakness, and score early as much as you can, and you will have a good chance to beat Michigan. Unless Brown can address these weaknesses, Michigan will lose whatever bowl game it goes to, unless they play Florida.

Obviously, the way to beat UM is simple: have all the other B1G teams wear scarlet and gray; UM will then shit themselves. Easy win for UM's opponents.

you can blame harbaugh and staff for not having the kids motivated and ready for their biggest rival but other than pride/motivation that game came down to execution. Brown's defensive scheme wasn't the problem. As I said in the other thread, at least three teams played osu better than uofm did today and uofm is better than all three. michigan has been the best team in the B1G (probably not saying a lot) all season but osu caught them taking a day off today.

I watched the "game" with family. At one point (after the ass kicking had commenced), my aunt was going to the store and asked if I wanted to go with her. Since I was wearing two Michigan shirts and hadn't brought a jacket with me, I declined. Also, I had gone out before that to pick up dinner and while I was waiting, I could hear the kitchen staff laughing about the blocked punt (at least, I assume they were talking about our game). After that, I didn't want to go back outside except to go home.

Seems like the Michigan defense faulters down the stretch every season since Jim arrived. Year one they regrouped and beat Florida. But the last three seasons the end of the season has been embarrassing. I guess we were unlucky in Columbus in 2016 and at least played decent verses FSU on offense. Same crap defense gagged in that bowl game. Today was embarrassing. The defense gave up midway in the third period today . I just don’t get it ? Every team had zero issues getting to Haskins until today.
