The Official THE GA][V][E Game Thread

I kid, of course; I obviously don't believe my sartorial choices have any bearing on Michigan's fortunes.

Hell, yesterday I ate the remnants of the block O portion of the OSU-Michigan cake my mother had made for her work potluck and as far as I know the Horseshoe didn't explode.

I know you?re only kidding, but some keep to a ritual.

Mind you, I do usually wear at least one Michigan shirt on game days, but not in the belief that that will help them win.

It's my fault. M-OSU was the first and only game I watched all season.

Well just like all the losses. I never get over them. Started way back with those missed fg’s by that straight ahead kicker in back to back years. I sort of remember 1968 and 69 but I was 7 and 8. I do remember 1970 Till now. I was born in 1961 so in my life the Sucknut are like 34-23-2 verses Michigan or thereabouts five or take. That stinks. One day soon I hope to see another streak against the bastards.

1967 is my first season for the Michigan football program. The losses of 72, 73 (10-10 and M was voted out of the Rose Bowl) 74, 75 and so on still rankle. Edit: Jim Harbaugh needs to take press conference lessons. He was really unim"press"ive. He needs to represent the program better than he is. IMHO.

you take this game and rivalry WAY too seriously.

I admit I'm a little jealous of those of you who got to watch Michigan beat OSU with some regularity back in the day. Since I've started following UM, they've beaten the bucknuts twice, and one of those games I only saw the final 5 minutes.

As a student M was 3-1 against OSU (75-79) and they were a tipped interception and preventing the conversion of a third and 18 from being 4-0.

I’m still pissed at Jim and Don’s overall game plan. It was putrid and unacceptable.

They thought they could play straight up with OSU. They used the same exact gameplan that worked the last 10 games. They were wrong.

He'll probably change his mind and retire 2 days after signing day...
