I'd even go so far as to say Lloyd Carr would've won it. no way we go for it on 4th there from our own side of the 50. that was dumb, and it lead to easy points for SC... in a game where easy points were going to be fatal.
also, I agree with Bam we should've just kicked the XPs in those circumstances. when it's not too late in the game, a few additional points can matter a lot. once you go for two, you have to do it every time. in the end, it may not have mattered here, since SC scored a TD to win it, but who knows? maybe we would've had an easier time keeping them out of the end zone if they were just playing for a FG to tie.
