Tigers Hire A.J. Hinch As New Tigers Manager and New Coaches

I'm not saying AJ Hinch will leave..but damn there will be a ton of high end high paying jobs he could chose from in the next 12 months..so I strongly suggest..whatever he thinks the Tigers should do..they should cooperate..

while we like to discuss the young SP DET has..MIA has the same or better talent..and a lot..more of them..they do not have Greene or Torkelson..but damn they have a deep group of SP..all who threw absolute GAS..

A.J. Hinch is raising the bar for the Detroit Tigers.
The Tigers skipper has managed a remarkable turnaround for the franchise in 2021, and he wants you to know this is just a beginning.

Detroit Tigers: Where AJ Hinch leads, they will follow.
Before yesterday?s game, Detroit Tigers manager AJ Hinch made a statement that sent shockwaves throughout the fanbase and ties into the philosophy of Detroit.

Outside of being a much nicer area to live in there has never been any kind of long term viability in Florida.

THE BIG STORY.
Totally Tigers

What was the biggest story of the week? (Last Monday through Sunday, that is.)

Was it something singular, a pattern seen or an overall theme? Or was it a story that will carry over throughout the year?

Our two bloggers will each give their takes from what stood out for them over the past week.

As always, we want to hear what you?re thinking. So, give us your big story in no more than 4 sentences.

Avila gets a little credit. Getting Babboo, and Grossman. And Hasse last season.

VALUE ADDED.

I?m currently having a hard time deciding which is more exciting to watch ? the action on the field or the action in the Tigers? dugout.

But let?s focus on the latter?.

It is the difference between night and day. I?ve written about it over the past month and it?s still something about which to marvel. No more cliques. No more disinterested players. No one sitting back and passing time as they await their turn at the plate. No one looking bored.
Far from it.

This roster has turned into one big homogeneous group. Every single player shoulder-to-shoulder. Standing room only at the railing. Cheer squads. Congratulatory gauntlets. And a welcoming committee as players round third base.

They are having the best times of their lives. Finally.

FAILURES FUELED THE TURNAROUND.

It?s more than likely that following this season, you are going to read versions of reflection. You will get the wrap up of September in the form of 20 Thoughts.

But wouldn?t it be interesting to look back at April and see how far we have come?

In fact, why wait? Let?s do it now!

When things are said and done and we reflect on the season, April was an important piece.

Don?t we have to acknowledge that the failures of the first month fueled the turnaround? We can?t ignore April.

So let?s take a look back at what the focus was after an opening month that was as painful as they come.

Here were the 20 Thoughts for April 2021 ? with a current reaction for each.

With only 10 games left in the season, it?s time to starting looking back over the year. Our two bloggers each share their thoughts on what happened during the 2021 season. The challenge is to summarize each point in 2 sentences. Their points are not ranked in order of importance.

What are the 5 biggest and most important changes in this year?s team that you?ve seen?
