Boesch could have Inge behind him, and pitchers wouldn't pitch him differently.

Take a look at last years splits when he batted in front of Cabrera vs when he didn't. Hit .100 pts higher.

If you don't have at least 1,000 PAs in front of him, and another 1,000 not in front of him, those numbers are pretty useless.

No, Leyland doesn't seem to understand that numbers such as the one you posted tell you nothing of what to expect going forward.

With such a small sample size, there is literally no predictive value in those numbers.
