I don't mind the bunt as much as some of you because JP is beyond struggling right now but for Alex to swing on the first pitch just shows how dumb and impatient this team can be... Holy scratch kick my damn cats.... Nothing is working.... It's the Inge factor

JP was hitting pretty good until smokes gave him a day off, smokes out manages himself IMO. I think it pissed JP off and he's been un locked in cuz he's pissed at smokes. JMO. nothing to back it up but that's what my gut says.

Sorry bunting in that situation is terrible, you're basically saying you expect the next 2 guys to get hits in order to get the run to score.

JP might have stuck out, fliedout, or GIDP, but then at least then you did not give them a free out.

I tried to explain this the other day, when people where complaining about Avila's lack of protection.

No team in baseball, has (intentional) protection for their number 6 or 7 hitters.

Boesch would see the same pitches at 2, that he would at 5 or 6.

I'm starting to get on the bandwagon to move him to 5th though.

You've got to be kidding!?!?! Look here ace, last year Boesch hit .339 with 11 homers and 32 RBI in 186 ab's hitting 3rd in front of Cabrera. He hit .239 with 5 homers and 22 RBI in 242 ab's when not in front of Miggy. Seems to be a FACT!!!!
